Oklahoma Republican Declares That Rape Is The ‘Will Of God’

Women should get as far away from Oklahoma as soon as possible because Christian Sharia law is about to make their lives a living hell.

If Oklahoma state GOP Rep. George Faught has his way, rape will be on the path to being legal in the state. At least that’s what rapists are hoping for after Faught made a frightening statement on the subject during a debate on House Bill 1549, which restricts abortion.

Democratic Rep. Cory Williams masterfully cornered Faught during the hearing by asking him if he believes rape and incest are the “will of God” since the legislation has no exceptions for either, meaning women would be forced to give birth to their rapist’s baby.

Faught’s reply is absolutely appalling and demonstrates once again why women should never vote for Republicans, especially Republicans who want to base our laws on the Bible.

“Well, you know, if you read the Bible, there’s actually a couple circumstances where that happened,” Faught said. “The Lord uses all circumstances. I mean, you can go down that path, but it’s a reality unfortunately.”

Faught literally just used the Bible to justify rape. And then he used it to justify incest.

“Same answer,” Faught replied. Then he argued that Williams’ questions have nothing to do with the bill. Williams vehemently disagreed and explained why.

“You are proffering a divine intervention as the reason why you won’t do that and so I think it is very important,” Williams said before demanding Faught repeat his answer again. “This body wants to know — and myself personally — whether you believe rape and incest are actually the will of God.”

Faught obliged and stated that rape and incest are God’s will because God is sovereign over all activities that happen.

“It’s a great question to ask. And, obviously if it happens in someone’s life, it may not be the best thing that ever happened, but — so you’re saying that God is not sovereign with every activity that happens in someone’s life and can’t use anything and everything in someone’s life and I disagree with that.”

Seriously.

Here’s the video via YouTube.

This is exactly the same kind of statement that Republicans like Rick Santorum and Richard Mourdock made during the 2012 Election.

“I believe and I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created — in the sense of rape — but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you,” Santorum said during his run for the presidency. “As you know, we have to, in lots of different aspects of our life. We have horrible things happen. I can’t think of anything more horrible. But, nevertheless, we have to make the best out of a bad situation.”

“I’ve struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God,” Mourdock said during his Senate run in Indiana. “And even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”

Both of these guys think that rape is sanctioned by God and that women should appreciate the “gift” God is giving them by force. It’s disgusting and is the reason why both men lost their races.

And now Faught should be ousted from office as well.

  1. That’s not the Will of God. Trust me, I should know. Raping women is sin, against God. And the same thing with abortions, also against God too. Every child is a gift from God. First degree murder of innocent unborn baby is illegal, hint don’t kill from The 10 Commandments. If you seen either from movie or stage show, please let know. That’s number 6. God means human life, including babies too also either unborn or not. It’s still first degree of murder. And I will pray for every unborn child.

  2. I do not believe he is saying he thinks rape is the will of God, as it is not. I believe he is saying that the life that was created by rape is a child of God, the same as a life created without rape. That God will take a negative horrific situation and make something positive out of it, that works for his will. One of my good friends was a baby created by rape. He is one of the most caring considerate humans / father / husband and I am thankful his mom did not abort him. I do understand both sides of the argument but it is not a child’s fault if they were conceived during rape. Taking the innocent child’s life does not take back the rape that happened. Based on how this article was written I am also guessing it was written by a Democratic individual???? I say this because I noticed it said that’s why you should not vote republican???? Okay country can we stop dividing ourselves!!! No matter what political party you are the underlying fact is were all Americans and we all live on this planet with different views!! We are individuals who have individual perspectives and what party your from does not make a difference. It is sad that people get so caught up on the party one is affiliated with that they no longer are accomplishing anything. One of the biggest flaws I feel in our government today! You know when I see people running for elections and they spend their whole time bashing their opponents those are the ones I shake my head at and do NOT vote for. There are good people in all the parties‍♀️ There are not very good people in all the parties ‍♀️ I understand if a person gets raped and pregnant they did not chose that, I also understand that baby didn’t either

    • You don’t understand both sides of this argument because you lack some sense of morality and empathy. A rape victim is victimized over and over again after her primary assault actually is over. She is forced to have intercourse with by her rapist, and then forced to become impregnated by her rapist, AND then forced to raise or carry that fetus by these sick and twisted “Christian” politicians. How many times does a women have to lose her choice in what happens to her and her body, to her life?! How much abuse does that woman have to go through before she can even began to think about how she is going to recover and heal! She has to carry the offspring for 9 months of the man who ruined her life, who took her body and used it as an object, who carelessly scarred her for the rest of her life. Most woman suffer from ptsd, anxiety, depression and even paranoia after being raped! That shit does not just go away. It is NOT just an unfortunate situation! It is a life ruining, training event that stays with you until the day you die! And you know what you’re saying to all these victims when you argue that abortion should be illegal or when you actually stop them from having the option? You’re telling these woman that they don’t matter! They’re disorders that they now suffer from, the trauma they now carry, DOESN’T MATTER! You’re telling them they they still don’t have a choice when it comes to their own body, because you’re going to control that just like her rapist did!

  3. Another great example of how mankind’s misinterpretation of God’s (inspired) word can set in motion horrific consequences.
God‘s intention with all issues concerning sexuality, is quite simple. All forms of sexuality outside the ‘umbrella’ of marriage (a man and a woman) are sinful. Why? All other forms of sexuality lead to all kinds of pain and trouble for people. History is full of examples of illicit sexuality.
Leaders in any type of organization – Government, religious, business, family, etc. misinterpreting God‘s loving law/command will be held to a higher standard when the day comes.

  4. The only reason why rape and incest were EVER in the Bible was as an object lesson on how evil it is. In fact one instance of both rape and incest caused a civil war in Israel during king David’s reign. So tell me again that’s the will of God, I dare you.

  5. If all these idiot Republicans agree with this idiot republican, about God approving of Rape and Incest., They 've got a lot of reading ' bible' to do.

  6. Why is it men think they have the right to tell women what they think we should do with our bodies? Most rapists are men. This Republican Representative is an ass if he thinks that rape is an act of God. I’d like to see him show passage and quote in the Bible where it says this. Also think about it – men wrote down God’s word. These idiots that want to make a woman go to full term with a baby after a rape are nuts! Granted some women will. If these men had daughters and they were raped they would be singing a different tune. So wrong. Women need to unite in protest. I lived in Oklahoma years ago. I know it’s part of the Bible Belt. Rape is Rape period. It’s a sick mind and that does this and not God. Idiots all of them.

  7. OMFG REALLY??? Sure a lot of whackjobs around. Who is this POS anyway and who’s he to talk about God??? Sooo many screwed up ppl!!! What a sicko!! If women are smart they won’t vote Republican. Hardly anything good has been associated with Republicans lately.

  8. Rape is NOT God’s will & neither is abortion/murder of innocent life. I’m a Christian & I’ve never been faced with being raped & conceive a child from rape but I know it has to be horrible. But taking innocent life will not change the rape but will create sin again. Every woman in that situation will have to seek God for answers. Have the baby & adopt out is a good option.
