Oklahoma Republican Declares That Rape Is The ‘Will Of God’

Women should get as far away from Oklahoma as soon as possible because Christian Sharia law is about to make their lives a living hell.

If Oklahoma state GOP Rep. George Faught has his way, rape will be on the path to being legal in the state. At least that’s what rapists are hoping for after Faught made a frightening statement on the subject during a debate on House Bill 1549, which restricts abortion.

Democratic Rep. Cory Williams masterfully cornered Faught during the hearing by asking him if he believes rape and incest are the “will of God” since the legislation has no exceptions for either, meaning women would be forced to give birth to their rapist’s baby.

Faught’s reply is absolutely appalling and demonstrates once again why women should never vote for Republicans, especially Republicans who want to base our laws on the Bible.

“Well, you know, if you read the Bible, there’s actually a couple circumstances where that happened,” Faught said. “The Lord uses all circumstances. I mean, you can go down that path, but it’s a reality unfortunately.”

Faught literally just used the Bible to justify rape. And then he used it to justify incest.

“Same answer,” Faught replied. Then he argued that Williams’ questions have nothing to do with the bill. Williams vehemently disagreed and explained why.

“You are proffering a divine intervention as the reason why you won’t do that and so I think it is very important,” Williams said before demanding Faught repeat his answer again. “This body wants to know — and myself personally — whether you believe rape and incest are actually the will of God.”

Faught obliged and stated that rape and incest are God’s will because God is sovereign over all activities that happen.

“It’s a great question to ask. And, obviously if it happens in someone’s life, it may not be the best thing that ever happened, but — so you’re saying that God is not sovereign with every activity that happens in someone’s life and can’t use anything and everything in someone’s life and I disagree with that.”

Here’s the video via YouTube.

This is exactly the same kind of statement that Republicans like Rick Santorum and Richard Mourdock made during the 2012 Election.

“I believe and I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created — in the sense of rape — but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you,” Santorum said during his run for the presidency. “As you know, we have to, in lots of different aspects of our life. We have horrible things happen. I can’t think of anything more horrible. But, nevertheless, we have to make the best out of a bad situation.”

“I’ve struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God,” Mourdock said during his Senate run in Indiana. “And even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”

Both of these guys think that rape is sanctioned by God and that women should appreciate the “gift” God is giving them by force. It’s disgusting and is the reason why both men lost their races.

And now Faught should be ousted from office as well.

  1. Clearly this man needs a true Bible study. America has gone to hell in a hand bag if they believe that the God who made heaven and earth allows rape and murder to take place, or any harm to his children for that matter. We live in a sin filled world and it’s getting worse every day.

  2. So, if I shot and killed the rapist, that is the will of God therefore I’m not guilty and should not be charged for murder. What he is saying is that everything is the will of God and that is not true.

    • Boy is this story a misconception!!! That’s not at all what the man was saying and anyone who knows the Bible knows, this original sin is the cause of evil, what God allows is for our growth, tests to pass on our judgments of our lives, God NEVER sanctions EVIL in any form, but as a rape victim, I know had I gotten pregnant by that awful man I’d have carried the baby and given it up for adoption, just because it came from an evil deed is no sanction for committing another…. God is a God of love not evil, so this whole story is TOTALLY misunderstood!!! Truly!

  3. The god Senator Faught serves may allow for rape being ok, but the God I serve does not. God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth is a God of love, mercy and justice. It is not just to force a woman who has already been forced to carry an unwanted child. And a loving God would not condone rape for any reason.

Neither would He condone forcing a woman to carry a baby that was conceived by rape or incest,

Since this is basically an abortion bill, then should it not stand to reason that a bill to punish women for having an abortion should also have a mechanism to punish men who hit and run, especially if he knows there is a life other than his or the mothers involved and he is responsible for its creation also. As women can’t usually impregnate themselves.

Heres a thought, not all pregnancies are viable. Not all pregnancies are consentual. So would it not be better if you’re going to ban abortion that the law ban those abortions that were the result of consentual sex, not those that were performed due to rape or incest. People who engage in sex are already aware that life could come from their union. And should take precautions to prevent pregnancy. Failure to do so is irresponsible, and not just on the womans part, but on the mans also. Women who were raped are not responsible for the actions of another. It is immoral to force an unwanted pregnancy on a woman who had no say in the pregnancy. While a couple who engage in consentual sex should both be on the hook for the future care of the child.

  4. God gave free will to all men and women. Rape is not God’s will, it is men and women’s choice. This man is an idiot.

  5. I have nothing to say to this monster, except I hope this does not hsppen to some cild or grown woman near to him. He must hate all women to death including his mother.

  6. Dems are definitely reaching! Shame on them! And I truly laugh in their faces for such ridiculous accusations!

  7. If this were the case, God would’ve turned a “blind eye” to all those who partook in infidelities while Moses was retrieving the tablets with Gods Commandments on them. If memory serves me correctly, Moses wasn’t too thrilled either we he came down from the mountains and witness an orgy ( basically rape ). God puts emphasis on “Man and wife” throughout the ENTIRE BIBLE.

  8. This is an obvious twisting of this man's words. Admittedly, he should have carefully thought out what his answer was to be. This is just another one of satan's trap's that he sets for people, not just republicans, I might add. Satan is masterful at doing this to all humans.

  9. I read it and didn’t see where the congressman said rape is right. I did see where the author of this article said he said it. Furthermore, I didn’t see where he used the Bible to Justify rape. Guess we should read for ourselves.
