Oklahoma Republican Declares That Rape Is The ‘Will Of God’

Women should get as far away from Oklahoma as soon as possible because Christian Sharia law is about to make their lives a living hell.

If Oklahoma state GOP Rep. George Faught has his way, rape will be on the path to being legal in the state. At least that’s what rapists are hoping for after Faught made a frightening statement on the subject during a debate on House Bill 1549, which restricts abortion.

Democratic Rep. Cory Williams masterfully cornered Faught during the hearing by asking him if he believes rape and incest are the “will of God” since the legislation has no exceptions for either, meaning women would be forced to give birth to their rapist’s baby.

Faught’s reply is absolutely appalling and demonstrates once again why women should never vote for Republicans, especially Republicans who want to base our laws on the Bible.

“Well, you know, if you read the Bible, there’s actually a couple circumstances where that happened,” Faught said. “The Lord uses all circumstances. I mean, you can go down that path, but it’s a reality unfortunately.”

Faught literally just used the Bible to justify rape. And then he used it to justify incest.

“Same answer,” Faught replied. Then he argued that Williams’ questions have nothing to do with the bill. Williams vehemently disagreed and explained why.

“You are proffering a divine intervention as the reason why you won’t do that and so I think it is very important,” Williams said before demanding Faught repeat his answer again. “This body wants to know — and myself personally — whether you believe rape and incest are actually the will of God.”

Faught obliged and stated that rape and incest are God’s will because God is sovereign over all activities that happen.

“It’s a great question to ask. And, obviously if it happens in someone’s life, it may not be the best thing that ever happened, but — so you’re saying that God is not sovereign with every activity that happens in someone’s life and can’t use anything and everything in someone’s life and I disagree with that.”

Seriously.

Here’s the video via YouTube.

This is exactly the same kind of statement that Republicans like Rick Santorum and Richard Mourdock made during the 2012 Election.

“I believe and I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created — in the sense of rape — but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you,” Santorum said during his run for the presidency. “As you know, we have to, in lots of different aspects of our life. We have horrible things happen. I can’t think of anything more horrible. But, nevertheless, we have to make the best out of a bad situation.”

“I’ve struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God,” Mourdock said during his Senate run in Indiana. “And even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.”

Both of these guys think that rape is sanctioned by God and that women should appreciate the “gift” God is giving them by force. It’s disgusting and is the reason why both men lost their races.

And now Faught should be ousted from office as well.

  1. God gave men and women free will but the logic of man is not of God when he goes out and committed and crime of forcing him self on a woman that is what God did not want! Can't say God is condoning what a sick man doesb:

  2. AND…..THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE RUNNING OUR COUNTRY. We are definitely in our last days. God will come back with a wrath on this people!!!!

  3. So then murder, assault, robbery and every other crime is sanctioned by God, that’s if you believe what this guy is saying. All of these things happened in the Bible as well. So every cruel activity should be viewed as an unfortunate incident and we should just make the best of a bad experience or situation. He’s an idiot and anyone who thinks like him is just as idiotic. God please help and protect us from people who twist and turn what is written and who uses your Word to benefit and fit their own sick agenda.

  4. Out of context. He is talking about the sovereignty of God. The will of God is both absolute and permissive. The first talks about what he does and what he expects us to do. The second what He allows although He does not like it. Not a leaf falls without his will.
The Two Wills of God: There are two clear and very different meanings for the term “will of God” in the Bible. We need to know them and decide which one is being used here in Romans 12:2. In fact, knowing the difference between these two meanings of “the will of God” is crucial to understanding one of the biggest and most perplexing things in the entire Bible, namely, that God is sovereign over all things and yet disapproves of many things. Which means that God disapproves of some of what He ordains to happen. That is, he forbids some of the things he brings about. And he commands some of the things he hinders. Or to put it most paradoxically: God wills some events in one sense that he does not will in another sense. John Piper
The reports says: “Faught’s reply is absolutely appalling and demonstrates once again why women should never vote for Republicans, especially Republicans who want to base our laws on the Bible.” News Flash, The US Constitution is based on the Bible .

    • Very well stated! These chickens will twist anything around to meet their own agenda!!
Thank you for saying what I couldn’t find the words to say.

      • I understand what you’re saying about this being misinterpreted. More importantly is we’re supposed to have a separation between church and state. So he is entitled to believe that, but it should have no impact on our laws! In a religious state everyone loses, except the few in charge, and women especially lose out in every way not just when it comes to our reproductive rights!

    • Well said sir. You would think duality was a more common concept to these so-called educated politicians. I think Saulo Villatoro should publish some material.
      -Martin A. Bartlebaugh

    • The constitution is not based on the bible. The new testament of the bible and the morals of good people are in concert. If the constitution were based on the Bible, the teachings of Jesus Christ, there would have been no slavery in the new nation. So let’s end that myth, it’s only pulled out when convenient.

God gave humans free will to sin or not sin. God does not “allow” rape he forbids it and humans turn their back on God constantly. Yes once in a great while God does intervene these are call miracles. They are very few and “God only knows” when or why.

So knock off the bullshit of pretending to know God’s will.

      You clearly don’t know shit.

      • I agree completely!
God gave us freedom of will. He KNOWS what’s going to happen, but He doesn’t intervene. Unless we ask Him to.
This is merely my own interpretation of the Bible.
These fools are just trying to justify their”holier than thou” opinions”, which are thouroughly not only disgusting, but outright dangerous if they are in positions of power.
If abortion is delegalized again, then it will be possible to overthrow ANY Case Law decision ever rendered. For them to even propose to make abortions illegal, to overturn Roe v. Wade, is illegal.
But, who listens to us? Only God, if we ask Him.

  5. Everyone leaves out the other life changer in this discussion…Satan. Because man chose to do Satan's bidding rather than God's, Satan acquired the title deed to the earth and to man for this period of time…that's why Jesus died…to purchase us back. And there's coming a day, know only to God, when this transaction will take place. But for the present Satan is the prince of the power of the air…for the time being, he has much power here on earth.

However, there is nothing that shows Satan's power over humans any more than that which comes from the mouth of angry, win at all costs democrats. This interview has been twisted and turned beyond recognition. We are living in a time Jesus told us would come…an era of great deception. Your children have been taught there are no absolutes, and I'm afraid these kids have repeated it often enough that some adult non-thinkers have joined their ranks. Satan is weaving a spirit of deception that will continue to grow and flourish among those who have rejected God's truth. God has numbered Satan's days of deception and destruction…then judgment will come on this evil angel, all angels who followed him, and on those he has deceived here on earth.

"…but the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations" (Psalm 33:11) Be sure you think about who is whispering in your heart's ear. The messages only come from two places…the Spirit of God or God's enemy, Satan. Trouble is if we don't know the Word of God, it's very difficult to discern the lies of Satan…he's a clever enemy bent on destroying and carrying your soul to hell with him…forever. Think about what you choose to believe. Your eternity depends on it.

    • OMGOSH shut up. I am a Christian and you are the tribe we wish would go back to being lost in the desert.
Go watch some more Fox news and wash your brain some more. Trump lost but Putin stole the election for him. We are not the party that will do anything to win.
Some day you will regret all of this.

    • This is not partisan, although once again,a republican is proposing
Hateful, inhumane treatment for every woman living in his state.
Just like orange foolius, snatching brown children from their
parents and imprisoning them in hateful and inhumane conditions.
Don’t put God’s name on this , surely this is the work of the devil.

  6. You know what I’d do if I were satan:

I’d show up in a falling apart world, demonstrate magic and miracles to convince people to follow me down a different path. I’d convince everyone it’s for the good of the many and give vague responses that could easily be mistranslated, especially from one language to another. I’d get a few followers to write a story about it, go around convincing or killing those who are unaware of my teaching. Then through the years I’d come back as another convincing person of high power and use my own story to justify my terrible deeds. Logic cannot convince the chosen blind and deaf.

  7. Shocking blasphemy spewing from this mans mouth and twisting Gods words. These are the last days as the Bible says and such evil is proving it.

  8. Of everything is the ” will of god” ever think abortion might also be his will? The bible isn’t against abortion. Try reading it

  9. The devil used scripture to tempt Christ! In order to determine if God orders the rape of one of His children, ask yourself: if we are to be judged for our deeds, if God orders evil deeds then isn’t God responsible for all the evil people do? Why would God need to judge us if He’s responsible for all the evil that’s done? Don’t be mislead by the masterful attempts of satan to make you believe God participates in the evil deeds of people. We were all given “free will” to do anything we want to do, good or bad. God allows everyone to do exactly what we want to do & as a result, we will be judged for our behaviors& won’t be allowed to blame a rape or any other evil act on God or anyone/anything else. We are solely responsible for all our acts, good & bad. We won’t be able to blame our bad behavior on anyone else, ESPECIALLY GOD!!! Free will means exactly that, freedom to do our will. If we choose to follow God’s will, we won’t be raping anyone! That so called Christian representative is representative of how easily “Christians” can be deceived into believing a lie. The most obvious example of Christians being deceived into believing a lie is the presence of sex offender Trump & how he has deceived a third of the country. For those who don’t know, when satan rebelled against God he influenced a third of God’s children in that rebellion. So, there’s nothing new under the sun!

  10. I think he needs to actually read the Bible. I have been reading and studying the Bible for years and have never read that. God does NOT condone sin. Period.

  11. Oh please eff you all. I don’t care if this was out of context or not. The facts are the facts. He SAID THAT RAPE AND INCEST ARE THE WILL OF GOD. Now, whose god is he talking about! The bummer is, that the stupid christian god is the one that seems to be the focal point. There are MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of religious people that do not worship at that tree. So by saying that, and also by saying that to WOMEN, IT IS A SLAP IN THE FACE. So all of you religious stupid zealots can F the H off.

  12. This dark underside of anything goes is a staple feature of most Christian denominations, not just evangelicals. A related but also little known feature of Protestant Christianity is that your deeds and acts do not matter in determining whether you get to heaven. All you need to do is say that you accept Jesus as your lord and savior. You are then free to commit rape, armed robbery, or lynch someone, and the eternal salvation of your immortal is still guaranteed—as long as you bathe yourself in the blood of the lamb by attending church every Sunday.

  13. Probably he has not come across the New Testament, the reason Jesus Christ was made flesh and dwelt amongst us. So we know the love of God, not the lust of the evil one. God is Sovereign and above all, but on Earth we are given the choice, to choose. Let’s not misuse that freedom. God bless him and the other law makers.

  14. typical liberal views, he did not condone rape and incest, liberal's like to twist everyone's words to promote the socialist propaganda. goes to show how many people have an actual "critical thinking" brain stem.
