If Trump loses in 2020, Evangelical leaders are calling for the overthrow of the US government

Evangelical leader Franklin Graham.

Evangelical leader Franklin Graham is amplifying the violence-loving comments Trump repeated in a tweet, that if Democrats impeach him (or he loses in 2020) it will cause a “Civil War.” Graham on Facebook also falsely claimed that Democrats are going to “take your guns,” a claim made only by former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, and related only to assault weapons.

“The socialist Democrats’ message to the United States of America is: 1. We’re going to take your guns, and 2. We’re going to impeach your president,” Graham wrote on the social media platform to his 8 million followers.

He credited Dr. Robert Jeffress as the originator of the “Civil War” claim, saying the far right wing megachurch pastor had “warned on Fox News that this could ‘cause a civil war-like fracture in this nation from which this country will never heal.’ I don’t know about that,” Graham claimed, “but I can tell you this could lead to conflict that nobody wants if they continue down this road.”

Nobody wants it? Wrong: the evangelical right is itching to kill in the name of Jesus. They want America to become their version of Iran and Saudi Arabia – an intolerant theocracy they lead through their man Trump.

Graham is literally suggesting that if Trump is impeached or if Democrats institute an assault weapons buyback program, conservatives and Christians will have no choice but to launch a civil war.

“Pray that God would change the hearts of Democratic leaders in Washington and that they would see the dangerous road that we’re on,” he implored.

Graham’s post spread quickly on Facebook, and his followers were only too happy to support his extremist and divisive rhetoric.

More than 7000 comments posted in under one hour. They called the Democrats evil and called for stocking more guns and ammunition “in every real Christian’s home.”

White evangelicals are an armed American Nazi Party.

Trump says Adam Schiff, should be arrested for treason. Trump’s evangelical booster Robert Jeffress threatens civil war if Trump’s impeached. Trump calls the whistle blower a spy and threatens punishment – death. Wake up America.

Trump is a fascist thug leading evangelical ISIS-like terrorists. Add Robert Jeffress to Trump, Trump to Fox News, Fox to white nationalists, white nationalists to the NRA, the NRA to the Republican Party, the Republicans to the fossil fuel climate deniers, and you’ve described the empire of darkness driving the USA and our planet into oblivion.

This is what Trump wants from Republicans: to fight and die in a bloody civil conflict to bail him out of the mile-deep mineshaft he’s dug in a lifetime of bottomless corruption. That’s how he sees his evangelical fans – a human shield for him, worthless in itself, dumb, laughable but useful.

Are the gun-toting violence-loving white evangelicals following Jeffress going to kill us for Trump’s sake?

  1. These people are a danger not only to the USA, but to the entire world. They are serious as a heart attack, and even though they cannot take over the USA, they can paralyze it if the vast majority of people who don't share their beliefs fail to fight them adequately.

  2. I have never seen a presidency that has
the followers operating in a cultic manner
having forgotten their life’s belief and begun
Operating as if they have sold their souls
to a sect that they surely have no history
or conviction for and its truth character or
concept of integrity unmonitored for longevity.
They surely must wake up before America
is lost to it’s constitutional values. It could
be that this is the very status that Trump
is banking on, so let’s begin the fight.

  3. It is a blasphemy to say that this President was chosen by God. God is holy and he would not choose an ungodly and unlawful man to be his anointed one. Why to call him ungodly? Because Jesus says: by the fruits you know that a tree is good or bad; He says more: "what comes out of the mouth make a man unclean. Read Mt. 15:18. Leave God alone. Trump does not have to know the Bible, but you should. Psalm 115:16 says that the earth he (God) give to men. We and Putin chose him. It is unchristian and unpatriotic to call for a Civil War if the citizens would choose to change him for another. This is a Democratic Republic, if we can keep it. The President, people like you, and the Senators that are being tribal more than just Republican, are allowing him to govern this country as a king. And is all for money. Coming from you, I would agree with Jesus calling you a hypocrite. Go read Mt.23. You cannot serve God and Money, accordingly with Mt. 6:24. Your mission is to teach people to obey what Jesus has commanded. It is in the last chapter of Matthew 28.

  4. the government highly regulates the vehicle you drive because it can be dangerous. The 2nd amendment guarantees every citizen (except felons) the right to own guns. It does not grant the right to own assault weapons. Republicans are worried that Democrats want to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens. They can’t do it but Republicans keep spreading the lies aided by Trump, the NRA and the radical evangelicals.

  5. I am appalled at the things I ve seen on Twitter under trump and his followers. He wants them to believe that he is doing everything because God chose him. He’s been building an army of followers and threatening that a big storm is coming. Also getting them to do things for him. They do t get that that is the fake news. He says it all under the pretense of mAking America great again etc. And saying vile atrocities about Democrat’s. There are pics of him with foreign countries and leaders. He tweets and does pics with Iran , Persia etc. everyone should know what he’s saying and doing behind the public forum.
