FIRST, I urge you to view this vital documentary with its powerful TV footage on the history of Trump’s destructive tenure, which is now ongoing, as we move to the November midterms.
Nothing I can write here will equal what insights you can gain by simply going to “Frontline WETA” on your cell phone or computer and playing the program!

To repeat, I urge you to go to “Frontline WETA” and bring up the entire program entitled “Lies, Politics, and Democracy” which perfectly captures what has happened under Trump and how it came about.
The program begins by showing the brief concession speeches of all losing Presidential candidates back Wendell L. Wilke in 1940 and concluding with Trump’s lying non concession speech ranting about the 2020 election fraud.
While Frontline covers the points of my multiple Op Ed’s, Frontline’s cohesion in putting together these facts on TV on Trump offers perfect insight to his present capture of the GOP and the likely chance Democrats will lose the House and we will get Kevin McCarthy as Speaker. McCarthy, Lindsay Graham and many other GOP figures are spineless Trump mostly male doxies.
As my wife and I watched this 1 1/2-hour TV summary of Trump’s march to control of the GOP, the parallels are many to how Hitler took control from the powerful German conservatives in the early 1930’s.
Frontline told about from Trump’s early career with his standard formula of attacking virulently everyone who opposed him and claiming fraud if he lost any goal.
This Frontline program is riveting, revolting and scary! This program should be seen by every citizen who cares about the continuation of our democratic government.
After his initial racist comments following The 2017 Charlottesville riots, it should have given GOP leaders backbone in curbing Trump’s future behavior when he said “there were fine people on both sides”!
But this failure to discipline him was the first of many that allowed him to dominate the Republican Party.

GOP leaders thought they could control Trump, who saw him as buffoon, but to repeat, just like German conservative leaders thought they could control Hitler, their multiple cowardly failures have now come to the point where many elected GOP officials or those running for elections are afraid to speak out, as they see the lives and families getting death threats.
At every chance to derail his outrageous behavior these GOP leaders caved!
Again, the seriousness of the present situation looms and your vote in November is at a refraction point where action is mandatory to save our democracy.
