“Climate is changing, and climate has always changed,” said James Inhofe, an Oklahoma Republican who has previously pointed to the Bible as evidence that human-caused global warming is a hoax. “There’s archeological evidence of that. There’s biblical evidence of that. There’s historic evidence of that.” He continued: “The hoax is that there are some people who are so arrogant to think that they are so powerful, they can change climate. Man can’t change climate.” (Credit: YouTube / screengrab)

For some very depressing reasons, this video clip from a recent U.S. Senate hearing is going viral. Senator James Inhofe believes the climate may be changing but that it has absolutely nothing to do with human activity like burning fossil fuels, because The Lord.

“Climate is changing and climate has always changed and always will,” Inhofe told the Senate last week.

“There’s archeological evidence of that. There’s biblical evidence of that. There’s historic evidence of that.”

“The hoax is that there are some people who are so arrogant to think that they are so powerful, they can change climate. Man can’t change climate.”

Sen. Inhofe chairs the Senate’s Environment and Public Works Committee.

  1. 1.
the composite or generally prevailing weather conditions of a region, as temperature, air pressure, humidity, precipitation, sunshine, cloudiness, and winds, throughout the year, averaged over a series of years.
a region or area characterized by a given climate:
to move to a warm climate.
the prevailing attitudes, standards, or environmental conditions of a group, period, or place:

OK so the discription of climate is this. What effects our air, soil, water, plants effects our climate. IF we are putting toxins in the air, we are changing the climate most probably in a bad way plus we are poisoning people. Can humans stop this behavior? yes. IF we kill the forest, we don’t have an adequate cooling in our world, can humans change this behavior? yes. IF we drill holes in our earth suck out its insides, will we change the shape of earth. Can we change this? yes. How does this effect the climate? WE will not orbit the sun in a healthy way to keep from burning up. ON and ON> YES humans can stop doing things that effect the climate that will hurt us. Earthquakes have already killed people that was human induced by drilling into the planet. People have already died by sinkholes from natural gas extraction. MORE and more catastrophes have happened from human behavior. Such as the flint crisis, such as poisoning us via monsanto such as roundup and other problems that create cancer, luekemia etc on and on. IS this human controlled yes, can humans stop this behavior yes. IT is humans that are passing stupid laws that allow the destruction of the planet earth.

  2. I am so sick and tired of denying Christians. YOU guys are idiots believing in your fairy tales. YOUR FAIRY TALE has caused more harm to humanity than any damn good it has done.

Hate, bigotry, stupidity, ignorance, idiocy, these are the trademarks of religious and religions. YOU can claim your religions are ones of peace and love…but the true history of all these psychotic gawd gobbling religions, prove otherwise, right up to this very day.

We have more to fear, according to the FBI and Homeland Security from Christo-Fascists in our country than we do of Muslim Fascists.

You got psychotic Christians of Hate, like Charles Worley, Pat Robertson, Scott Lively, Matt Barber, Matthew McLaughlin, Theodore and Walid Shoebat, the psychotic, inbred Phelps family, Ron Baity, Steven Anderson, Donnie Romero, and far too many other psycho Pastors of Hate, screaming, foaming at the mouth, how Christians should have the right to brutally murder others, based of course, on their cherry picking buybull verses.

You have the Phinneas Priesthood, the Army of God, the Concerned Christians and many other psychotic Christian groups, who again, want to brutally slaughter people and turn our country into their Dark Ages Theocratic Nightmares.

As far as I am concerned? It is time to fight fire with fire.

The Dust Bowl, or the Dirty Thirties, was a period of severe dust storms causing major ecological and agricultural damage to American and Canadianprairie lands in the 1930s. The drought and erosion of the Dust Bowl affected 100,000,000 acres (400,000 km2) that centered on the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma and touched adjacent sections of New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas The phenomenon was caused by severe drought combined with a failure to apply dryland farming methods to prevent wind erosion. Extensive deep plowing of the virgin topsoil of the Great Plains in the preceding decade had displaced the natural deep-rooted grasses that normally kept the soil in place and trapped moisture even during periods of drought and high winds. Rapid mechanization of farm implements, especially small gasoline tractors and widespread use of the combine harvester, were significant in the decisions to convert arid grassland (much of which received no more than 10 inches (250 mm) of precipitation per year) to cultivated cropland.
During the drought of the 1930s, without natural anchors to keep the soil in place, it dried, turned to dust, and blew away with the prevailing winds. At times, the clouds blackened the sky, reaching all the way to East Coast cities such as New York City and Washington, D.C.
