While this popular religious icon makes his rounds of the USA, we invite Pope Francis to enter the 21st century by advocating that the Catholic Church encourages all forms of birth control.

The Catholic Church continues dragging its troglodyte knuckles on the ground that leads to endless babies that perpetrate intractable illiteracy that leads to wrenching poverty worldwide. One look at Catholic dominated societies, such as Mexico and Haiti, shows a propensity for women to birth 3, 4, 5 and more kids. Same with Islam and other ancient religions unable and unwilling to deal with humanity’s dreadful onslaught of the Earth’s environment.

While he advocates for environmental concerns, Pope Francis completely ignores his church’s roll in the planet adding 80 million more people, net gain, annually and 1 billion every 12 years. It’s a sacrilege against common sense and all life on this globe. Francis needs to escape his “cognitive dissonance” better known as a complete denial of reality, and issue a worldwide advocacy for human birth control for all Catholics and all persons planet-wide.

He needs to call for a world conference to drag all ancient religions into the reality that the human race cannot continue its unnerving, destructive and exponential population growth rates.

The human race cannot continue its galloping fecundity rates if humanity hopes to survive the 21st century.

When historians write about humanity’s folly in the 21st century, hopefully, they write about a few intelligent world religious leaders who escaped the insane dogma of the past—by entering the realities of 2015 and beyond.

Fact: over 10 million children die of starvation annually. Another 8 million adults die of starvation and starvation related conditions. Continued human fecundity rates guarantee even greater deaths and misery in the decades ahead if not stopped. (Source: UN Population Facts)

Another two billion humans live in the “human misery index zone” where their lives continue with intractable poverty that cannot be solved or alleviated. One look at the misery of India, China and Africa gives you a clue to what’s coming for all of humanity.

The recent 350,000 refugees fleeing their plight equates to over 1,000,000 (million) more right behind them according to the latest reports on National Public Radio.

Another fact: humanity adds 80,000,000 (million) new babies annually to an already overburdened planet. They need to be fed, housed, warmed, watered and educated. It can’t be done. Thus, more human misery and suffering. More poverty and more babies. Poverty breeds more babies like rats on a dying ship. It’s human nature, which in the end, equates to animal nature.

Therefore, Pope Francis, stand up to reality. Advocate for birth control. Talk to your other world religious leaders. Forget giving kind words to America and other nations about receiving “destitute immigrants”, but instead, stop the reason for their misery: overpopulation.

Advocate for birth control Pope Francis! Advocate for two or less children per woman worldwide. Advocate for human dignity. Advocate for a viable and sustainable planet home for all humanity. Become the Dr. Martin Luther King of birth control. It’s your time. It’s your watch. It’s your sacred duty.

Because if you fail, you fail every single human being on the planet and you fail the natural world and all other creatures suffering over 100 species extinction rates daily 24/7 world wide from the human onslaught. The Catholic Church needs to lead a rational and effective program for worldwide birth control.

It’s your time Pope Francis; lead the world toward a better tomorrow and a livable planet.

    1. How about offering free vasectomies after the second child is born? That should take care of the problem and their distaste for birth control. Of course than they would lose money on their investments in the birth control market. Can't have it both ways. What a conundrum.
