To be a great President the pundits claim one needs great challenges and after the most despicable President in our history leaves Biden has a huge chance to shine!
His reported first day’s planned actions indicates that he can shine. I am hopeful.
The contrast with his and Harris’ touching acknowledgement of the COVID losses of life at the Lincoln Memorial the eve of Inauguration Day was a moving and promising precursor to exhibiting the empathy that ego monger Trump never showed!
But in our need to unite Biden must also be strong in acknowledging the need to mark forever what his predecessor did with Trump’s conviction in his upcoming Senate trial!
While this is McConnell’s job, Biden needs to stay firm in favor of conviction on this most egregious betrayal of Trump’s oath of office in our entire history!
