Is this the beginning of the end of a functioning democracy?

No January 6th Commission investigation apparently, says Republican Leaders of both Houses Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy, no agreed upon legislation for needed infrastructure, no admission from the Dictator in Chief Trump that he lost on November 3rd — in short the kind of continuing big lies that brought Adolph Hitler to power in the 1930’s!

But this is prosperous democratic USA being hornswoggled by the party of Lincoln.

Biden is keeping cool and the swelling disbelief and outrage keeps growing as progress with COVID-19 here in the USA seems on track, but certainly not elsewhere — in India and Brazil for examples.

But everyone is coming to realize that we are part of a world growing more dysfunctional daily.

And the variant strains of the COVID are multiplying in many countries while vaccines there are scarce and many governments shaky.

Our thesis is being daily confirmed that 8 billion human consumers exceeds our earth’s capacity to sustain us peacefully.

So instead of facing this urgent threat, the world’s greatest democracy is avoiding positive governance and admitting the overpopulation problem exists.

Biden at his age and as a likely one term President is not likely to step forward, tell the truth and initiate important actions to make women’s reproductive rights more available, steps which history would subsequently view as a master stoke but now might not help his party win in 2022!

Dismissing what many members of both the GOP and the Democratic Party advocate, the vital need for a strong 2 party system has broken down seemingly beyond repair.

What to do? Is this the beginning of the end of a functioning democracy?

Could be.
