One of my long time trusted colleagues brought this awesomely disturbing film to my attention just a week after my new book, “We Humans Overwhelm Our Earth: 11 or 2 Billion By 2100?” in which I refer readers to expert concerns about our future if we fail to restrain and reduce our rapacious consumption of resources on our finite planet.
This careful recitation of how cow production contributes to 51 percent of global pollution was information which many of the environmental NGOs were unaware of or didn’t want to talk about. Yet as you can read here, we could change from wasteful animal dominated husbandry to much more plant-based diets and basically save ourselves, our domestic and wild animals and our vegetation.
As of now we have virtually run out of more agriculturally available land to feed present human numbers. Water and climate are of course related issues.
You can watch this lengthy film here.
I am told another film by these same scientists, Seaspiracy, is equally shocking.
The broad media reach of the film can be found here.
