Talk about an irrelevant action by Elon Musk! But there’s a lot more cooking with Trump and his former GOP now.
Elon Musk said that Donald Trump will be “reinstated” on Twitter — making good on his promise to lift the ban on the former president.https://t.co/FRQDce9Rgn

Such as the not so remarkable the rapid fall of Trump after the midterms which has made his unsavory ilk drooling at the mouth over the wide-open chance to throw their hats on the ring!
I predicted the precipitous fall of the Donald 3 years ago and one bad—for the GOP—midterm election outcome and almost instantly the GOP power players decided he will never again be its Presidential candidate.
I bet he will never again hold public office. Trump’s zealot packed Supreme Court, perhaps seeking some rehabilitation from its Dobbs decision, just ruled his tax returns be forwarded to authorities for review.

But watch people like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis now mouthing Trumpisms without using Trump’s name. Really ironic. Read about his God complex here.

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s actions may decide if Trump will go to jail. A recent Post article quoted Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen as saying he thought Trump was showing signs of mental deterioration as he faces enormous legal challenges.
Still amazing to any literate reader of facts is the unwillingness of many of Trump’s cultists living in their fantasy bubbles to accept the proven facts of his scurrilous documented crimes—you remember, uniquely trying to steal a democratic Presidential election being the most treasonous crime in our history!
A good summary of Trump’s Presidency you can read here.

Where does that put Biden? Hopefully being cautious and patient about declaring his intention to run for President as 2 years is a lifetime in this electronic political age.
Even so on Judy Woodruff Friday program 2 weeks ago, NY Times columnist David Brooks stated he thought Trump’s faithful would enable his nomination.
Question: If Merrick Garland’s Special Counsel Jack Smith produced damning evidence would that impel the Attorney General to indict Trump? Smith has an impressive record of impartiality and effective prosecutions. Read here.

Even then the Donald’s fantasyland cultists might still back him, thus insuring if he be the GOP nominee, his defeat by Biden or any Democratic nominee.
Again, in the months ahead of 2024 the split GOP will likely have come together with another candidate.
Meantime it is to be hoped that needed governance of the country such as raising the debt ceiling will not be affected by the GOP led House of Representatives’ investigations of Democrats including Biden or his son Hunter.
Expect the unwanted but not always by a somnolent public expected!
Here are few unacceptable options.
Will the giant Artic iceberg collapse and flood innumerable low lying coastal land?
Or Putin be pushed into using a nuclear weapon?
Or the emergence of a debilitating new variant virus with no adequate vaccine?
Or the continuing population pressures as we press past 8 billion people, many living in starving and desperate conditions (such as Haiti, Somalia and Niger) and seeking refuge from dictatorships by migrating here or other democratic countries?
Or will the Amazon rain forest collapse as scientists have predicted in this article.

The list goes on, but we already know what needs doing to save habitable planetary life if we could only do it.
The feeble COP 11/19th statement promises inadequate action, its promised fund from rich nations to pay for the effects of their pollution on poorer countries is a start, but the reality of global warming remains a powerful unresolved threat.
We need more action as proposed by Sir David Attenborough’s in his 2020 documentary A Life on Our Planet, but we see not nearly enough coming!
Meanwhile Elon’s Twitter totters as Trump goes to tatters!
