November 8th’s biggest result? The fall of Donald Trump, which has not yet received wide articulation even though it is clear he plans to announce his 2024 Presidential candidacy soon.

NY Times columnist David Brooks told Judy Woodruff on WETA on 11/13 that he believed Trump would be the GOP’s 2024 nominee.

I find this prediction in which he is not alone astonishing in that a US Department of Justice indictment of Trump for his instigation of the attempted 2020 coup or other crimes could be forthcoming at any time based on the DOJ’s findings and the facts gathered by the House January 6th Committee.

I find it hard not to feel sharply the events if that January 6th Capitol insurrection, which Wikipedia covers so well here.

Trump’s candidacy would make the still unannounced but hinted at Biden’s candidacy easier as the shattered GOP will be groping for cohesion.

However, many voices are now expressing concern that Biden’s energy and acuity at nearly 82 if elected could be issues.

Regardless, the question of Trump’s future hangs over the upcoming presidential race like an unhealthy cancer that the GOP would love to excise ASAP.

Trump’s clones who could run would be more dangerous than Trump since they would likely carry his policies such as on abortion, which they will obviously try to sublimate in their rhetoric based on last Tuesday’s results.

And the deep dark money from sources like Leonard Leo beamed at hindering minority voting will continue to expand to confuse the unwary.

Hopefully, some wise voices will come forth shortly to opine on my question about Trump’s legal status, as he makes his announcement for another Presidential run in 2024.
