This fact confirms the title above, but doubtless dark money such as provided by Leonard Leo and his ideologically driven allies including the religious zealots who have a majority on the Supreme Court will continue to deny the majority’s wish for the restoration of a national right to choose abortion.
The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, touching off a cascade of antiabortion laws that probably will take effect across roughly half the country.
Without the landmark precedent in place, the national abortion landscape will change quickly. https://t.co/8GDK9nIKEg

In so doing, the bumbling clueless GOP will afford Democrats the basis for the overwhelming case for electing more Democrats.
Why? Tyranny on choice simply highlights other unfavorable GOP positions which again are demographically unfavorable to them.

Certainly a vital action against democracy is the GOP effort to limit voting rights. Even Forbes Magazine takes out against this bad choice.

Next item of concern to all Americans should be GOP intransigence on gun control as mass shootings accelerate. The 2nd US Constitutional Amendment calling for the right to bear arms led now to establishing the USA by far as the most dangerous country on earth for gun violence.

Then there is the immigration issue which will be the major point of GOP attacks in the lead up to 2024.
After decades of no real negotiations by both parties to set a reasonable policy for a nation composed mainly of immigrants, the GOP use of this issue as a bludgeon will seem increasingly uncomfortable as the economy suffers worker shortages as our population ages.

66% of Americans say making it easier for U.S. citizens and legal residents to sponsor family members to immigrate to the U.S. is an important goal for U.S. immigration policy. https://t.co/Vqr7DuTmNZ pic.twitter.com/BO3L1n1VEV

Note the GOP embrace of Critical Race Theory defined as pushing the danger of whites being replaced by immigrants has an increasingly powerful ring of racism as both new immigrants and African Americans assume prominent roles in our government, cultural and business lives.
So, the clear pursuit of exposing the GOP’s willful ignoring of these growing demographic gaps as well as the immorality of their racist religious intentions should provide a powerful core for the Democrats game plan.
Should the GOP get away with mandating our country as a Christian Nationalist nation?

“Fully 61% of Republicans supported declaring the US a Christian nation. In other words, even though over half of Republicans previously said such a move would be unconstitutional, a majority of GOP voters would still support this declaration.”https://t.co/1WqlGC94i5

When shortly Biden announces his run for a second term, the hue and cry from members of both parties about his age ignores his exemplary record of stabilizing a heeling ship and getting important legislation passed in a highly divided Congress. Many also fail to note that so far, the GOP has not offered its plan for governance except the above bad ones and their hope to smear Biden with House Congressional investigations about his family.
As we noted above, stupid is as stupid does, which I personally regret. Just beware that the GOP’s Trumpian fall into increasing authoritarianism profoundly attacks our democracy in lasting way, as the ruination of the Supreme Court’s reputation proves.
