Thinking about the vast ways we communicate these days including by Kindle where most of my 7 books on this web site can be easy read; it is shocking how obvious ideas based on scientific observations on God who is still believed in by more than 60% of Americans.

Read here: How and who are the many Americans who believe in God?

The good news of course is that the numbers of US religious believers of every category has showed a precipitous decline in the century.

The future from now until 2050 is clear that believers will onto us to decline but worldwide Muslims will then equal the number of Christians.

The evolution of one Catholic male in losing his Catholic faith which you can read here, happened rapidly once exposed to religious historical literature and logic.

That the bondage imposed by religion is of course possible because of lack of education, social, political, and economic advantages in group power, and fear of death or the possibility of eternal life.

Whee! Viewing the late George Carlin’s routines on religion and abortion, clearly filmed in front of non-believers, gives comic, yet ironic relief to the inconsistencies and fantasies used to control the naive and uneducated masses.

So, what are the fixes urgently needed to save us from the 6th Mass Extinction?

As my title suggests, the religious kindling which often initiates massive divisiveness worldwide shows where religion has brought humanity.

While religions encourage intolerance, there are many other bellicose factors involved!

Read here for a writer who argues religion doesn’t start wars, a true dodge.

Perhaps the most perfect example science proving Earth celestial position is the Catholic Church’s sustained refusals to admit the Sun did NOT revolve around the earth! One of Copernicus’ most important powerful advocates Galileo was admonished by his church and sentenced to house arrest until he died. Copernicus died shortly after publishing his fact and missed RC punishment.

The history of the RC seems overwhelmed with bad judgement for adherents such as the Catholic majority on the Supreme Court bequeathed on women with Dobbs.

The late George Carlin’s 2 routines on abortion attackers and religions remain as the most eloquent and succinct synopses of these contentious debates! I keep replay of his films as he has cornered their main points better than any author I have yet encountered.

So what this website does so powerfully and consistently is to provide the kindling so all its readers can understand the critical points, and like that initially Roman Catholic young man, quickly join a former Catholic Carlin, in believing that for him the utter fantasies of religions were simply control mechanisms created to bilk the uneducated and unwary. Yes, God is like Humpty Dumpty as Carlin tells us—not there.

As we marvel at the memorable edifices around the world to boost belief in God, but none were erected by any creatures but us humans often in our own images.
