Why Should Trump, A Convicted Sexual Abuser, Get His Georgia Coup Prosecutor Ousted For A Love Affair?

In an elongated disqualification hearing we are treated to the croaking of Trump’s expensive lawyers. Many including me seemed to find an increasing lack of evidence to support disqualification of his chief prosecutor Fani Willis because of an admitted love affair with a fellow prosecutor.

The salient facts are laid out in this article which you can read here.

Most lawyers I heard commenting on the case on TV argued that the evidence was not conclusive and that the Judge seemed uncertain himself.

Personally my reaction was that the love affair has little to do with the validity of the charges against Trump.

If a conflict of interest occurred and the lovers lied about their relationship, keeping a private affair private is pretty standard human behavior. Trump certainly knows about lying about his relationships with women!

His bad behavior with women, long before the Carroll case which caused the court to just award her an $83 million dollar defamation judgement, has been extensively covered in the media for years!

For example, the Access Hollywood incident in October 2016 was among many instances which revealed his attitude about women.

From the Oregon Capital Chronicle in an 8/15/23 story by Jacob Fischler he notes: “Oct. 7, 2016: The ‘Access Hollywood’ tape is published showing Trump, years before, bragging about sexually assaulting women. The negative publicity is part of what prompts the Trump campaign to try to limit other unfavorable attention about Trump’s relationships with women, including alleged affairs, according to the New York state court indictment.”

Many of his lengthy records of indictments were covered in the above cited article here.

His record of 91 indictments for a President is likely not to be beaten any time soon.

One can only hope that his behavior will not allow this prosecutor, Fani Willis, to be disqualified from prosecuting a vital case with similar charges as the January 6th coup case brought by DOJ’s Special Prosecutor Jack Smith!

On February 29th Trump’s Smith coup case was sadly delayed by a Supreme Court decision. The first stage of argument is not until April 22nd. Most legal experts believe this highly questionable Supreme Court decision to review whether Trump’s claim of immunity is valid likely will not be decided after November 5th’s election when Trump if reelected will pardon himself and his cronies.

His strategy of delay could also help keep him out of jail. But the Court is facilitating his effort by not allowing the well decided lower federal court decision to stand.

Do you believe his claim he would only be a dictator for a day in seeking retribution against his enemies?

Read here.

If trying to keep a love affair private gets Fani Willis disqualified, the judge will be ignoring common human behavior!

The judge promised he will rule in 2 weeks. His decision will be a big deal, for if Willis is ousted which would likely end the case. Coupled with the delay of the Smith case this outcome could mean Trump escapes justice for both of his alleged major crimes as both having been deferred or dismissed! Buying good lawyers with money contributed to Trump’s election campaign will have paid off.

Recall Trump has famously opined he could shoot someone on 5th Ave in NY and get away with it.

Can Teflon Donald prove his contention on all his charges?

Can this outrageous Trump history get worse? You bet.
