Fresh from his miraculous escape from assassination in PA Trump will arrive triumphant on Monday July 15 in Milwaukee—a city he dubbed “horrible”—to star at the Republican National Convention where he will be nominated as the GOP’s Presidential candidate.
To many Americans Trump’s rise to authoritarian power is like a bad dream which prevails even as we are awake!
Here are quotes about Trump’s moral fitness from the 7/11/24 NY Times Editorial board’s assessment.
The opinion begins with these words capitalized:
HE IS DANGEROUS IN WORD, DEED AND ACTION HE PUTS SELF OVER COUNTRY HE LOATHES THE LAWS WE LIVE BY
It continues with the board’s moral fitness assessment of Trump:
Presidents are confronted daily with challenges that require not just strength and conviction but also honesty, humility, selflessness, fortitude and the perspective that comes from sound moral judgment.
If Mr. Trump has these qualities, Americans have never seen them in action on behalf of the nation’s interests. His words and actions demonstrate a disregard for basic right and wrong and a clear lack of moral fitness for the responsibilities of the presidency.
He lies blatantly and maliciously, embraces racists, abuses women and has a schoolyard bully’s instinct to target society’s most vulnerable. He has delighted in coarsening and polarizing the town square with ever more divisive and incendiary language. Mr. Trump is a man who craves validation and vindication, so much that he would prefer a hostile leader’s lies to his own intelligence agencies’ truths and would shake down a vulnerable ally for short-term political advantage. His handling of everything from routine affairs to major crises was undermined by his blundering combination of impulsiveness, insecurity and unstudied certainty.
This record shows what can happen to a country led by such a person: America’s image, credibility and cohesion were relentlessly undermined by Mr. Trump during his term.
None of his wrongful actions are so obviously discrediting as his determined and systematic attempts to undermine the integrity of elections — the most basic element of any democracy — an effort that culminated in an insurrection at the Capitol to obstruct the peaceful transfer of power.

I am still shocked a convicted felon who was found guilty of sexual assault in a civil case can even run for president, but in so many ways this pathological liar is unfit for the highest office in our nation. https://t.co/odrIjPmjtN

The Times has held that Biden should step aside but like the naysayers of his own party nobody has suggestions for a forward plan better than keeping the same ticket. Biden’s rationale for not stepping down? He claims he wants “to finish the job” unless he believes he can’t win, a view he will likely never admit!
We are thus faced with a 2020 rematch. Trump’s near assassination on Saturday July 13th, just as his May 29th felony conviction in NY, will boost his fundraising and increase his MAGA’s adoration!
Also we will hear again and again his 2020 election fraud claims and his repetitious yelping about his victimhood despite being convicted of criminal charges which awarded his victims nearly $500 million in fines!
Back to the basic question: After November 5th, does the process of putting him in jail begin or does he go to the Oval Office? Jail only of course if he is not able to use the Kingly powers granted by the corrupt Supreme Court’s Presidential immunity decision!!
Read my latest book or any of the 12 books I have published to date on this developing national tragedy.

As Joe Biden reminds us about J.D Vance, Trump’s pick for Vice President, “How does a guy who used to say that Donald Trump and his policies were “reprehensible,” become Donald Trump’s running mate? Through years of being a rubber-stamp for Donald Trump’s extreme, MAGA agenda. You might even say he’s the poster child for Project 2025.
Just look at his record:
- Vance has supported a nationwide abortion ban and even criticized exceptions for rape and incest. He actually said, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.”
- He has called Social Security and Medicare “the biggest roadblocks to real fiscal sanity.”
- He said women should stay in violent marriages.
- He admits he wouldn’t have certified the election results immediately on January 6 if he’d been vice president, and even said that he’s “skeptical” that Pence was in danger.
JD Vance is against no-fault divorce, supports a national abortion ban, and voted against IVF access.
He wants the government in people's lives and dictating decisions they can make for themselves, their health, and their families. pic.twitter.com/yeZSGI3VCa https://t.co/rgyvjwlEYu

What we’re up against now is one of the most extreme MAGA tickets possible. They want to implement Project 2025, continue to restrict womens’ reproductive freedoms, slash Social Security and Medicare, and rip health care away from millions–all while giving their rich buddies tax cuts.
