Our relative ignorance unabashed grows!

Last week in Minnesota a mad man fired multiple shots into a Catholic Church and killed two children, and wounded a number of others. This ugly event has been replicated dozens of times without any meaningful action to restrict the sale and possession of automatic weapons.

We never seemed to awaken to the obvious or apparently willing to a challenge, the grade of business interest selling any product that they wish.

However, as untreated as this gun phenomenon is in the United States, we are also apparently not completely understanding the enormous gap between the harm suffering in America and the harm being inflicted on many people around the world in Gaza, Ukraine, and now we discover today a horrendous earthquake in Afghanistan has killed 800 people and wounded 2500.

Meantime, the Trump administration has made considerable progress in completely dismantling not only our federal government, but also attacking our states with regulations that can only hurt such as placing national guard troops where they are not wanted.

We know that the possibility of Trump becoming a dictator has grown to the point where many have come, greatly alarmed, but seemingly have no way of stopping him.

We in America are rich, relatively safe, powerful by comparison with other countries, despite the fact that the Indian government has now just met with the Chinese leader and Putin, which indicates the informality of Trump’s failing to calculate the impact of his tariffs and his stupid 50% tear on India which has torn apart a relationship that has taken years to build.

The chances for reconciling the damage that been done and re-aligning America on the right path have become very slim.

As environmental pressures increase and humans worldwide experience, wars, famines, and multiple disasters we can only wonder how long before America feels greater impact.

Apparently, Trump and his growingly tight inner circle of advisors are not worried, nor are the billionaires that now want more rather than less.
