Trump’s Excuses To Kill Democracy Are Chicanery!

Trump’s announcement of his intention to kill the US Education Department on March 19th was simply another step in his chicanery to kill our democracy because too many in the country did not step up to stop him.

Certainly, the Education Department was not the most crucial of his decisions but simply illustrative of the extent to which he is willing to go for false premises.

And his power is mounting.

What he has been planning should be seen with the first step in his second term with the first step which was to destroy or attempt to destroy the USAID which had served for decades as an example of US worldwide charity to assist the world‘s most needy!

Trump‘s propensity to align himself with hard-core dictators is well established and I fancy that he sees himself enjoying power the likes of Kim Chi and Putin in a worldwide chain to keep people doing what dictators like to do which is to keep people in bondage and to keep themselves in absolute power.

Don’t be shocked, just be alert to his very highly planned and executed program to turn America into another authoritarian state.

As usual history does not repeat itself, but it certainly echoes in comparing what Trump is attempting to the rise of Adolf Hitler in Germany in the early 1930s. In that case, the power structure felt that they could handle him and of course we know what happened.

Trump is developing a system for achieving all power in a slightly different manner but using exactly the same techniques.

After he disabled USAID, he began with his hatchet man. Elon Musk a genius but certainly hard of the right wing to dismantle government with a chainsaw not the way it was carefully done under Clinton and Gore, which resulted in some practical improvements in government efficiency.

Now the over slashing has gotten to the point where many parts of the government will not function well. Could this be a place when Trump the new authoritarian takes even more extreme actions, claiming as he has already stated that he is the man on the white horse riding to save the US.

But of course, this is not happening has already not happened and in fact gone the other way toward economic and other distresses. We are seeing the obvious failures that his present program is creating.

Ever since Citizens United was enacted in 2010 it can be assumed that big business interests were in charge of our governance. Unquestionably our creativity has been a factor in our predominance as world power, but it has always been leveled by substantial immigration and will always need to be.

The excuses Trump and his bullies are using, if when examined carefully are false. We do not have too much immigration of the needed kinds, just numbers not properly vetted. We have unselective immigration which we could have solved long ago if both parties had agreed to negotiate a correct deal as has been suggested by the Federation for American Immigration Reform(FAIR).

About immigration levels most developed democratic countries already take that attitude, but we for political reasons could not reach a bipartisan compromise.

Now as the world’s population has grown from 3 billion in 1960 to over 8 billion now and growing the world has this problem and it is not just an immigration problem.

We can’t solve this problem with endless wars and killings, as we are now doing. The growing equalization of women’s rights against men’s which is rapidly occurring in the United States and elsewhere, will lead to a domination of the population without killing anyone.

Patience has never been a quality of governance so that the time it may take to get from perhaps as high as 10 billion people to a manageable level on planet earth is highly questionable without a significant war which could end nuclear with humans suffering the fate of the dinosaurs.

Meanwhile Trump’s burgeoning actions to emasculate our constitutional democracy continue unrecognized by too many Americans!

Will we awaken in time or will Trump’s possible solving of the Ukrainian war confuse voters into thinking he works for their benefit.

Recognizing that this thesis will not be popular or accepted I give it anyway as an old man’s opinion.
