It is far from obvious that our democracy can survive the balance of Trump’s term nor whether or not he will eventually work out enough deals so he can run again, both unprecedented, a third term which would surely mark the end of our democracy.

Now count the subsequent additional lies as Trump continues to add to the total daily especially since the arrival of the Jeffrey Epstein case which promises to gain major media with growing intensity.
It is now possible every day to add a new example of an attack on some aspect of our democracy, particularly ways of instrumenting political advantage on Trump’s road to complete authoritarianism.
Apparently, unable to be stopped by any forces in the media or the Democratic Party or even by people in the GOP, who should be shocked into action by what has happened Trump’s seemingly unstoppable march to dictatorship continues.
While the Epstein files controversy unfolds, it is highly unlikely that this will completely stop the Trump plan for a functioning dictatorship facilitated by the failure of the billionaires who would now influence so many decisions in our government.
Now his lawsuit against his longtime supporter Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal’s Jeffery Epstein stories gains more and more credibility. It might seem to many that Trump’s sexual behavior over many years including the E. Jean Carrol conviction would make his sexual participation with Epstein’s minors possible!

At this point it is impossible to not recall the statement that trump made on January 24 2016 in Sioux Center, Iowa when Trump said “I could Stand in the middle of 5th Ave. And shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any votes OK”.
Now of course the rise of the Jeffrey Epstein controversy makes perfectly clear that there may well be at some point a behavior which will reflect the underlying on fitness and possibly lead to what should have occurred far earlier, namely his permanent ousting from any public credibility!!
A far more troubling president was the willingness of Paramount to succumb to Trump’s outrageous $16,000,000 demand over its subsidiary “60 Minutes” so the company could consummate a merger which it had been seeking regardless of the clear impropriety of Trump’s intimidation. Since then “60 Minutes” has seemed toothless in it’s sharp political programming about all public figures!
CBS canceled Colbert’s show just THREE DAYS after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump – a deal that looks like bribery.
America deserves to know if his show was canceled for political reasons.

The overall effect on others who own media properties such as Walt Disney’s ABC network is frightening!
Now, Dear Readers, please read the short list that you can find enlarged every day in your newspapers or in your other media sources to find many more examples which I could list here but will only manage to mention a few.
1. Destruction of US AID.
2. ICE uncertain arrest of alleged illegal immigrants
3. Passage of the Great Big Beautiful Bill which GOP elected Congress members claim does affect our less wealthy while giving tax breaks to our wealthiest citizens.
Enough! You know what has happened. Even those snookered MAGA are not stupid enough but just too ashamed to abandon completely their fealty for this fascist liar!
