Trump‘s kingdom is not collapsing fast enough!

Daily reports of utter impropriety, such as Trump’s pardon of the crypto criminal who has been funnelling profits to Trump and his family, were noted, but did not seem to bother any GOP elected official.

The kind of governance that Trump has provided at every opportunity since he attempted a coup on January 6, 2021 now coming close to utter fruition.

His TACO tariff regime has alienated everybody as he daily rants about the suspicious nature of any politician who might disagree with him, and he has already indicted former FBI head James Comey, John Bolton, his foreign policy advisor, and Jack Smith, whose substantial evidence against Trump was dismissed when Trump won his second term.

Smith may not get approval to lay out the facts on Trump’s guilt, but the facts are already evident.

This outrageous situation cannot be totally blamed on the GOP, since the Democrats could not rally enough support to keep Trump’s election from happening. Probably the principal reason was the hiding of President Biden’s growing incapacity, despite the fact that in many respects, Biden was functioning satisfactorily.

If we can keep our democracy, the principal lesson we could learn from all this is to ensure that we have term limits on everyone serving in our government at the federal level.

Imagine that I was Senator Grassley now calling shots at so far past his best moments, if he ever had any, who, at 92, is apparently willing to overlook any misbehaviour as Trump’s retribution program roars on.

Trump’s manic description of his enemies exhibits madness!

Trump labeled California senator Adam Schiff guilty of fraud and gutter language, which clearly reflects Trump’s instability since his charges against Schiff have been described by potential prosecutors as utterly beyond prosecution.

Now what? The 7 million who demonstrated against Trump certainly represent the kind of growing resentment and fear about where Trump is willing to take us. He is apparently willing to outrageously rob the public purse to the extent of $230 million for past tax on his so-called integrity, as well as working out this crypto scheme to greatly augment his family’s fortunes.

But I will await such a protest with growing concern since he has gotten away with so much that it appears he now can get away with much more, including driving America into authoritarianism and anointing him as king!

Trump’s kingdom should be collapsing fast, but there is no way to impeach and convict the GOP Senators except at the ballot box in 2026 or 2028, which may be too late!

Alas, these Senators have sunk to forsake their oaths and their moralities to the man who will betray them as soon as he gets to be King!!
