Now that the federal government closure is nearing an end and the Democrats seem to have folded to Trump’s intransigence, both parties are arguing over who lost, and the Democrats have divided themselves again over Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, as to whether he should continue in that role.

Trump’s many felonious supporters are lauding his unwillingness to negotiate to keep food, healthcare and improved living conditions for our less fortunate citizens.

The applause from the MAGA voices would suggest Trump’s continued dominance over the political scene.

While the Republicans are likely to pay dearly for their failure to authorize the continuation of healthcare to millions of Americans as the premiums sharply rise, when the present law expires, that liability is in the future.

However, everyone has been waiting for the other shoe to drop in the Epstein case. Perhaps you recall the origin of the phrase Waiting for the shoe to drop It came from the time when many were living in dismal tenement apartment buildings, where the tenants could always hear through the thin ceilings when the other shoe would drop.

Mike Johnson, the Republican speaker of the House of Representatives has been refusing to allow the newly elected democratic representative to take the oath of office because that would provide enough votes required to of course, the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files!

Now Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said he will administer the oath of office to Adelita Grijalva, who was elected to the House in September, as soon as Democrats vote to reopen the government.

There is long been much a speculation about how closely Trump was involved in that heinous crime scene created by Epstein.

Many have admitted Trump often was with Epstein including Epstein’s primary helper, Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell claimed Trump never participated in any inappropriate behavior.

After so claiming an interview in her prison with an Assistant Attorney General and former Trump personal lawyer soon after Maxwell was moved from a higher security prison where she had been serving her 20 year sentence having been convicted, to a low security prison where reports are that she has been receiving special privileges including having her own dog, catered food and the kind of freedom that and seldom offered even in a low security prison.

It is of course not surprising that Trump has not committed himself to a pardon, but the chances of the pardon seem to be growing. Trump seems to have a special interest in pardoning people who have had poor records, such as Rudy Giuliani this past week.

When these papers are released, we can make a more informed judgement the newly elected congressman can vote to release the Epstein files enhance create the necessary votes, the actual release of the files will not likely occur until after Thanksgiving According to CNN the correspondent Manu Raju.

The stink of this entire Jeffrey Epstein controversy has developed as as Republican disaster. Originally Republicans were trying to use the Epstein affair to attack Democrats but now as the evidence has turned around completely.

Will Trump ultimately be more entangled in an extremely embarrassing fashion if that is not the case already!

I suspect there are many that already formed their own opinions about the extent of Trump’s involvement. I know I have.

So as I conjectured in the title of my piece “When will the other shoe drop?”
