I seem to recall that a simple one-liner that brought down Joseph McCarthy as he was attacking a witness and his efforts to find communism in the federal government in 1953, when a lawyer named Joe Wilson sent to the Senator, “Have you no decency, sir?”
I don’t anticipate that Trump will be affected as the Senator, whose hearings were concluded, died a short time later.
However, huge numbers of his party voted to release the Epstein files, and he signed up bill that appeared on his desk.
Of course, there’s a substantial question about how much the attorney general of the United States will release in these files, particularly any files that might in any way implicate Trump. However, that is probably not as serious as the exposure to this man’s cruelty, avarice and utter lack of integrity as he continues to make personal profit from his office and tries to establish an authoritarian regime that could give him a third term in the office of president.
Marjorie Taylor Greene should get Major credit for standing tall for the young women who were abused by Epstein‘s program, which involved, we know not who yet, because the complete files have not been released and may not be released, depending on Attorney General Bondi’s instructions from Donald Trump.
