China will almost certainly become the world’s dominant power. And world dictators build on Trump’s example.

As America withdraws from its long held position of word leadership under Trump’s guidance into seeking to use fossil fuels, ignoring the need for clean energy alternatives, we learn that China has been for years understanding that since it had comparatively small fossil fuel resources that it needed to rapidly develop its capacity in a wind, solar panels And RV energies for cars and trucks.

Additionally, it has been extremely active in building trains that can rapidly transport people and freight without using fossil fuels.

Perhaps Trump’s judgment or lack of awareness of the fact that China is eating our lunch will prove to be the most debilitating shirt coming of the Trump years.

Start with the Chinese-Automotive Industry and read its growing domination of the production of highly competitive, low-priced RVs.

This is one of several best prospect industries for China and reminds us of how Henry Ford captured the American market with his Model Ts.

Effective July 1, 2018, China trimmed tariffs on imported cars from 25% to 15% of their wholesale value. It also cut tariffs on 218 categories of imported car parts, reducing them to a standardized 6%. However, in June 2018, China imposed an additional 25% tariff on $50 billion in U.S. imports with $34 billion taking effect on July 6, 2018 and the balance of $16 billion on August 23. This tariff included most U.S. made autos and auto parts at rates between 5% and 25%. In December 2018, China announced that it would temporarily suspend these new tariffs on autos and auto parts until March 31, 2019. As of June 1, 2019, these retaliatory tariffs on auto parts will go into force. In addition to tariffs, all autos in China are subject to an engine displacement-based consumption tax that can reach 40% for the largest engines. Also, all passenger cars and medium and small size commercial vehicles valued 1.3 million RMB excluding VAT (approximately $188,000) and above are subject to an additional 10% “Luxury Car Consumption Tax”.

Autos, including new energy vehicles (NEVs), are one of 10 sectors of the Made in China 2025 program, a government initiative to upgrade the country’s industry from low cost mass production to higher value-added advanced manufacturing. For NEVs, the government’s goal is to produce 1 million electric and plug-in hybrid cars in China by 2020, with domestic production accounting for at least 70% of the country’s market share. Moreover, China aims to sell 3 million domestically branded NEV’s in 2025 with a minimum of 80% of the country’s NEV market share. China’s “Automobile Mid and Long-Term Development Plan”, released in April 2017, supports this initiative; aiming to make China a “strong” auto power within ten years. This plan highlights the development of NEVs and connected and autonomous vehicles as an opportunity for China to dominate this emerging market. Several ambitious targets have been set relating to the creation of national champions in auto parts/brands, connected car technology, driver assistance, and autonomous systems. Additional guidelines focus on NEV engines, plug-in hybrid engines, fuel cell systems and key components, charging stations, battery manufacturing facilities, and testing equipment.

Jeffrey Epstein’s files serially being bleak and ultimately proving Trump’s involvement with minor women but the rest of Trump’s theater activities to divert attention away from their release can only be blocked by Bondy so long.

However, this diversion only underlines so many areas in which China is already eating our lunch may very well on glue his GLP dominance and convert him into a Lamm doc president, but Trump’s enormous damage has already been done, and it will be very difficult to overcome the lead that China has already built and its various ways of helping the environment.

Trump did not send a representative to the recent UN environmental summit in Europe.

Read The New York Times columnist David Brooks November 28 column entitled “What I love when I love America”.

Brooks begins “Americans used to be nearly universally proud of their country. In January 2001, 90 percent of Republicans and 87 percent of Democrats said they were extremely or very proud to be American. Now the situation has changed. Today, 92 percent of Republicans still say they are very proud to be American, but only 36 percent of Democrats say that, according to a recent Gallup survey.”

He summarizes “Let me put it this way: Through most of Western history, leading thinkers regarded ambition as an unmitigated sin. For much of civilization, people have lived in societies with feudal pecking orders; everybody had the station they were born into and would die in — peasant, merchant, aristocrats. To be ambitious was to try to rise above your station and thus disturb the whole system. Children who showed hints of ambition were told the story of Icarus, the man who tried to fly too high above his station and crashed to Earth, to his death.”

Finally, “Christians have a multicultural conception of America. Only a tiny percentage believe in the “great replacement: theory. Only 1.1 percent believe that America should be ethnically and racially homogenous.

Some Democrats like Gov. Gavin Newsom of California seem to think they can win the White House by behaving more like Trump, by thinking more like Trump, by adopting that dark American carnage vibe. This strikes me as political lunacy. Look at history. Americans lost faith in themselves in the 1970s, after the failures of the Great Society, the retreat from Vietnam, the corruption of Watergate, the impotent presidency of Jimmy Carter, the rising crime and divorce rates, the awful stagflation, the decay of our largest cities. But was this loss of faith permanent? No, Americans elected Ronald Reagan president in 1980. They elected optimism, patriotism and hope. There is still, deep inside the nation’s core, a little engine that knows no rest.”

Wake up America and you can still win the game but not by retreating or permitting people with no integrity or courage to bring us back to some level which we have already lost under Trump. If its full involvement with young women is disclosed well let’s finally bring the gutless GOP to a position for a conviction or will those senators who decide it’s OK, how will they explain they’re in action to their constituencies of letting a seducer of teenage girls remain out of jail.
