Trump’s REIGN now fading but will his corruption ever be punished?

The level of blatant illegal self-interest that Trump has shown in his first months of his second term as president has produced a pattern of behavior that it cannot be compared to any other president in our history.

In my many Trump articles in my books, one of which you can see below, I have constantly argued that he be impeached and indicted and punished for his outrageous crimes, but of course he rose in power to unimpregnable levels because his GOP majorities in both the House and the Senate plus his appointment of the major majority of right wing justices gave him full opportunity.

His crimes have been recorded by many, and I will give you a few references By senator Elizabeth Warrenhere.

On the 100th day of this Trump administration, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) read 100 reports of corruption from President Trump’s term so far into the Congressional record.

Senator Warren pointed to all the ways President Trump, his family, and associates like Elon Musk have used the presidency to enrich themselves, give favors to donors, and made it more difficult to hold him accountable for corruption. “

Here’s the 1st 10 on the list:

So, count with me: In just one hundred days, Donald Trump, his family, and his Administration have:

1. Turned the White House into a Tesla dealership.

2. Fired independent commissioners at the FTC.

3. Punished former officials who opposed his 2020 election lies.

4. Paid for the White House Easter Egg roll by soliciting corporate sponsors who have business pending with the government.

5. Helped Trump’s son set up a club — pay $500,000 for access to Trump’s cabinet.

6. Declared that there would be NO tariff exceptions. Then permitted Apple’s CEO “behind the scenes” access — and poof, iPhone tariffs were cut.

7. Created an opening for insider trading by reportedly giving Wall Street exclusive information about trade talks.

8. Hosted million-dollar dinners between Big Pharma CEOs and their regulator RFK Jr.

9. Launched crypto memecoin right before inauguration to make millions of dollars, then increased the value of those coins by signing executive orders making crypto a priority.

10. Launched a meme coin for Melania, too.

In 2026 the prospect of Democrats taking the house of representative seems almost certain.

I have been hoping that even the gutless Senate may realize that his activities have proved ruinous to the majority of our poor citizens and to the future of our Constitutional government.

I admit to the fact that our government is now controlled by big money from billionaires who’s grip controlling our laws may not be breakable.

Perhaps most damaging to the future of democracy in the world is Trump’s proposed institution of his new foreign policy strategy, named his National Security Strategy, which has us lessening our ties to Europe and caving too Putin. This has drawn the sharp criticism of our long time European NATO allies, who now are speaking out against Trump, and realizing that the USA can no longer be trusted to provide a backbone of security and stability in a world where China offers increasing competition and potential takeover of this dominant power in Asia, including Taiwan.

And isolationist USA will find itself declining rapidly as Trump’s attacks on immigrants ignores the huge advantage of those immigrants have historically provided. We are already losing many promising young people as Trump closes down research and many of our top research programs in universities and elsewhere.

One of the main winners in technology is Nvidia led by Jensen Huang, a Taiwanese American businessman along with many other immigrants who brought their talents to America’s great advantage!

Trump recently stopped development programs for wind energy and has steadfastly promoted fossil fuel over wind, solar, and atomic energy, which will have to be the main sources of energy in the future.

Taking altogether and recognizing the object, greed and stupidity on the part of our billionaire class and our elected officials who owe their positions to their big money donors, it seems highly unlikely that Trump will receive the treatment that I’ve been advocating.

However, the self-interest he has exhibited by feathering his own nest and that of his family at every opportunity could well loom large enough to make my long shot prediction seem more feasible as we approach the midterm elections.

Perhaps the greatest example of his using his office for personal gain is Trump’s acceptance of $400 million jet from Qatar which was initially offered to his foundation but even his lawyers said it was illegal so he cleverly pushed the gift through the US Defense Department. Trump’s age and his seemingly deteriorating mental condition implies that we have a man entering dementia, which of course will continue to be hidden by his staff just as Joseph Biden’s inner circle did.

Finally, it is truly wake up time for American voters who will be the only way we can bring this dangerous, destructive, dishonest, and debilitating era to a close and make our future on the upswing again.
