Trump’s Venezuela attack puts the USA in another war with boots on the ground for oil we don’t need and with his blatant corruption continuing!

Beginning at about 11 o’clock Eastern time, President Trump was announcing the spectacular job that the military did in capturing Maduro and his wife and basically capturing Venezuela with a military precision that certainly could be lauded as it was by Trump, Hegseth, Rubio and Admiral Cain.

Trump‘s presentation was long and rambling, and filled with self-congratulations followed by a press conference, which revealed that we would be taking over Venezuela, but we do not know how long it will be for and to whose benefit it will be, although of course everything was going to be perfect.

With US boots on the ground, Trump kept lauding the value of the oil and made no mention whatsoever of the Venezuelan people who should have been named as leading attempts to restore democratic government to the country, including the Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Machado or other Democratic leaders! Maduro’s VP is now President, and she is apparently being talked to as having some continuing leadership role.

It certainly looks like Trump sees Venezuela as another profit centre, making an opportunity for Him and his allies in the US, but I am suspicious entirely of his true intentions for Venezuelan democracy.

Without concluding any serious conflict in Ukraine or Gaza, Trump is now taking us into another situation with an uncertain future, since it was reported that Venezuelans have lots of firearms, which could create chaos for our boots on the ground.

The level of Trump‘s corruption never ceases, as the testimony of Jack Smith rendered on January 2 explained.

Now we have a further attempt by Trump to put in place another diversion of attention from the principal problems that his administration has now created in an unprecedented way in the history of our country. The other continuing diversion is the suppression of data from the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Marjorie Taylor Greene reported that in a phone conversation with Trump recently, he screamed at her about the Epstein files because they might reveal the names of his friends.

This of course diverts us from the real pursuit which we should have made against the level of corruption and wrongdoing that the entire GOP led by Trump has perpetrated on all Americans.

The Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s July 2nd testimony should now trigger the recognition of Trump’s broader criminality which demands efforts to impeach and indict.

While we knew what Jack Smith had said about the Trump‘s conviction have happened if the case have gone to trial, this fact connects so closely to the troubled release of the full Jeffrey Epstein files, emphasized by the discovery now of another huge number of files previously not released.

Clearly, a massive cover-up is now fully underway. This would seem to tolerate the recognition of Trump’s other corruption, and turning his presidency into a theft operation for the purse, personal benefit of his family and his allies.

In short, the entire lawless program which has been reported on as he continues to bring his lawlessness public creates an opportunity to put the whole Congress on notice that the deluge has begun, and they better be part of it or else.

Has the level of protest reached an adequate level to get the spineless GOP elected officials to take the kind of action that I have been recommending be done even before his coup attempt in January 6, 2021.

We are nearer to this unraveling than most people realize.

Will this troubled desperate aging man continue to fall apart in front of us I we will is, maybe this year even before the midterm elections in November.

The delusional bubble Trump and his inner circle have built around themselves, has allowed them to take every action they want without believing that there will be consequences. That blatant self-interest by these clueless GOP insiders and their billionaire supporters suddenly may find the majority of average voters have spiked their bubble and just like Jericho the walls come tumbling down.

In case they fail to notice a massive number of demonstrations, composed of people from all walks of life and all parties who suddenly realize they’ve been gone, and that the retribution Trump keeps promising on so many was really aimed at them. Taking away the healthcare for many, burgeoning food prices, the Epstein files, the gold adorned White House East wing construction shows people living paycheck to paycheck that Trump never really cared for their welfare.

This convicted felon would have been convicted if Jack Smith, the Special Council had been able to try Trump. If the midterms produce an adequate when by the Democrats, they could take over the House and even the Senate.

Then the Senate may be willing to follow the House impeachment (Trump’s fourth!) by demanding an indictment!

This is the evilest presidency in our country’s history.

These spineless, self-interested elites will find their fealty to this sick ego centered rich man addicted to fancy parties so he can be adored has driven us into a place which it will be difficult to recover, even if he is indicted and removed.

The irony of this lauded Venezuelan invasion will doubtless turn into another Trump fiasco!

This Venezuelan war then will simply be added to the other the crimes he committed against our Constitution and the rule of law, now so exacerbated by the slow release of the Epstein files and Jack Smith’s repeated recitation of Trump’s guilt beginning with our bipartisan failure to indict Trump following his attempt at a coup on January 6, 2021.

Well this invasion make other great powers such as China think that taking over a sovereign country is not going to be too badly resisted by a greatly weakened USA so that it will be fine for China now to try to take over Taiwan?
