Watching events in Minneapolis and the growing apprehension around the country about the Gestapo type activities of ICE Americans of all political political persuasions are becoming fully aware that while the border is now closed, and we have needed substantial immigration reform policies, which never were taken care of in 40 years of refusal by either part to seriously consider the matter, we have now created a situation where the normal flow of immigration into the United States, which, after all created the United States as the great country, we are needs now to be adjusted, and we must return to a reasonable review of the situation which we are not doing now.
What has happened with Trump proclaiming that the only people we need in this country are white people and people who believe in Jesus Christ have created a situation where we are dismissing the huge masses of immigrants that have come here and made life better for them and for us perfect example, the large Somalian population in Minneapolis, which now has an elected Congress person, and now finds itself under particular attack from this malicious, cruel ICE. The new leadership just installed, will not basically change the situation in Minneapolis and likely as it’s being instigated in other cities around the nation, the kind of function that that agency used to perform will not be replicated, and we will simply have more and more anger against people who are not white or Christian.

In short, what is happening is making America particularly stupid because if we limit this immigration to alleged people who will fit what has now become a very different demographic pattern being super imposed on by Trump with his racist policies, we will continue to create a political situation which can only hurt us in every possible way. Perhaps the wealthiest people in the country will realize that this is not the way to success. Despite Trump‘s attacks on large university research programs, apparently roughly the same number of foreign students came this past year as had come before to these institutions, indicating that we could still keep the flow of excellent people into the country and keep up with the kind of technology that we’re going to have to have if we’re going to compete successfully with other nations, such as China, which is moving rapidly ahead with its various plans or technical and other advances.
We are now in $38 trillion of national debt, which is the highest level in our history. The idea that you can print enough money to keep us from having serious problems seems utterly outlandish to me.
