Let Morality and Common Sense Combine for Our Future

One of my sources of stock market investing information for many years has been Jim Cramer who appears on CNBC in the morning and then as he hosts an hour long program called Mad Money between 6 and 7 pm Monday through Friday.

He has a distinguished vita online and he has helped us all for years make solid choices in the market. Jim, while doubtless a Republican, is never afraid to tell his views which are not knee jerk political.

Thus on Monday October 12th he opined on which Presidential candidate would be better for the stock market. He picked Biden saying that Biden would favor tech gains while his opponent protected waning sectors such as oil and coal.

I did not hear him express any views on other issues but by now morality seems an issue if not an urgent crisis based on what has been revealed by Bob Woodward’s book Rage but precisely delineated by Michael Cohen’s book Disloyal: A Memoir which gives first hand examples of the President’s unethical behavior.

The chorus of voices from reputable sources expands daily but whether Trump’s unmasked slaves at his rallies will hear is doubtful so our continued efforts are required.

More military voices would help. As you know General John Kelly, Trump’s White House Chief of Staff for 2 years, is reported by CNN to have told friends that Trump “is the most flawed person” Kelly has ever met.

The urgency of repairing our fallen international standing under Trump should be better understood by his supporters but knowledgeable experts see the cast of marginal Yes Men who surround Trump and the spineless Republican senators who have failed to call him out.

Biden’s emphasis on morality and the dire potential for a deep loss of our freedoms was sharply stated by Tom Friedman in his conversation on Thursday October 15th on CNN when after a biting recitation of Trump’s disgusting record Friedman said that 4 more years of Trump would greatly threaten our democracy!!

Many others including me are of that view.

And the chances for such a catastrophic happening are definitely still in play! So your greatest act of citizenship is to vote for Biden.

To those very few of you who are undecided I offer you the chance to select both greed and morality as reasons to pick Biden. Many predict our incumbent bully is shaking in his boots as a very litigious future awaits him. If so he will definitely need another attorney like his long time attorney, the late Roy Cohn.
