Trump’s behavior based on what we now have observed is unacceptable to anyone who believes in our cherished principles of Constitutional government.
That our system allowed his initial election certainly has to be forgiven.
What must not be forgotten when he does leave The White House is the utterly aberrant behavior of the majority of Republican leaders who went on their knees to Trump to save their seats and apparently got away with so doing as the overt lying about the validity of the election process got believed by over 70 million voters.
Serious post-election problems exist for Trump as this WSJ article explains.

To what does one attribute this awesome intellectual breakdown?
Greed by ruling elites in both parties as the wealth gap in America expanded and the richest among us failed to see such imbalance would create such resentment. Social welfare spending for the less fortunate among us is in fact like buying an insurance policy on behalf of fairness.
Racial hatred by uneducated white people of both sexes. No one wants to say that is one major bottom line fact! A large amount of the Evangelical and Catholic support for Trump and the GOP candidates in several states seems to be largely based on deep racism.
Religious extremism based on misuse of faith as a lever with which to seek political power.
Failure of both parties to gain reasonable control of immigration so that poor Americans do not feel they are going to lose their jobs to illegal aliens.
Failure to practice patience and understanding for those with different views.
Biden’s election is not a quick panacea but he and his unique VP partner could enlighten many about the fragility of our democracy and the horrendous price we will pay if we ignore truth, science and the willingness to follow rules that have served us so well so far.
Trump’s behavior is a major lesson for all of us, but failure to heed it could destroy us!
If he fails to cede his defeat and to appear at the inauguration it will underline the points I just made.
Out of office, President Trump could face new legal vulnerabilities https://t.co/F860UlDdwj
