My new book, “Trump Becoming Macbeth”, now available on Amazon, is in effect a sequential case study based on 41 Op Eds written by me beginning in August 2020 when I endorsed Joe Biden for President and predicted Trump’s political decline based on his attacks on our democracy by spreading lies that many of his base still embrace!
One particularly ominous article which appeared on page one of the June 26th Washington Post entitled “The “shadow reality world” of Trump’s “big lie” can be read in full here.

In addition to telling photos, this detailed investigative report bears the sub-headline “Allies put wealth behind the lie that the 2020 election was stolen.”
It details in a page one column and in two full inside pages the dangerous extent of the Trump poisoning of our democracy with major money from right wing funders on various non-main stream media outlets embraced by Trumpers who deny the fact that the November 3rd election was not stolen. Some Trump supporters have even stopped listening to Fox, now going to sources expert analysts regard as “hogwash” since voting machines have repeatedly been found secure.
The Post article notes that at a rally this month in Wisconsin, Trump told the crowd, “The election was rigged like never before.” At least we can agree he is consistent in his evil message!
To me the main point of this powerful Post recitation of the facts might well be the likely limited awareness of most Americans about this multi-million dollar campaign now vigorously underway to inhibit the legitimate workings of our democracy.
No factual evidence of voter fraud has yet surfaced, but demands for multiple state level recounts continue. And Republican bills to limit voting escalate in many states.
Most Americans await the legal actions likely soon coming from NY District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr against the Trump Organization and possibly its family members and employees.
Meantime, the sordid record of Trump’s behavior such as what caused Rudy Guiliani’s loss of his law license in New York may actually awaken some of those 35 US House Republicans who voted against investigating the January 6th insurrection of the US Capital.

Will any of these so called public servants apologize for the denial of some to acknowledge the heroism of the Capitol police who protected them from the assaults that day from Proud Boy types who led the charge.
News of Trump’s continuing improprieties will certainly forever stamp his disgraceful tenure as President, but the Mar Lago ring kissing trips by Republican leaders exposes their moral depravity in failing to govern in the broad interests of American democracy in exchange for the prospect of their election in the 2022 midterms.
I repeat here my book’s prediction that a winning majority of Americans of both parties will before 2022 grasp the moral and practical principles of not electing congenital liars to govern us.
The attempt of this big hidden money which you can read about here to continue these blatant lies should fail, but Americans must be alert to the facts of Trump’s mobilization of immense power with the same lying approaches that installed Hitler and dictators before and after Hitler all around the world!
