Church and State

Trump’s own public statements and a flood of credible new evidence has now completely described the fact that he and his co-conspirators attempted to overthrow Biden’s proven non-fraudulent winning election.
Now we await the release of the House report on what additional confirmation the January 6th findings will disclose.
More important and potentially far more serious are the promises Trump keeps making to his fantasy maddened crowds of what he will do if he runs again and wins. Trump promised his last crowd that he would pardon those convicted of storming the Capitol on January 6th. You can read about this speech here.
Old enough to remember a time when Donald Trump was just a failed mogul and not a former president who has tried to undermine democracy at every chance he gets. https://t.co/2kRhntSlfd

In short he is openly and blatantly planning another insurrection in 2024.
Sedition? Violence condoned and laws casually broken?
His latest manic pronouncements suggest a mental condition which even his non-core GOP adherents might want to consider. See here.

And now the non-governing GOP Congress members are pondering about arguing about whether Pence had the authority to overturn the votes of the Electoral College. Read here.

If anyone is in doubt whether Trump is instigating a race war in his manic rush to destroy our democracy you can just read daily articles of case of violence incitement, but bad publicity has a long history which this article tells us.

A Washington Post February 2nd editorial page political cartoon shows a cop handcuffing an African American male who says “How much more evidence do you need? I got nabbed for $10 worth of marijuana.”
He’s asking this question while standing in front of a seated older white man who isn’t listening as the man reads a newspaper with the headline “Trump Tried To Seize Voting Machines”. See this particularly apt cartoon here.

I suspect a majority of all voters except those who have joined Trump’s base voters must be wondering what major crimes Trump can’t not get away with!
Thus the House Commission’s report on January 6th insurrection has much broader implications than the attack on our Capitol and hopefully will be released ASAP!
