Dark Money Helped Make A Catholic Supreme Court. Roe’s Death May Foster Anti Family Planning / LGBTQ Attacks

The almost certain Supreme Court decision to kill Roe this Summer goes back to religious fanatics’ efforts to change choice ever since Roe’s inception 49 years ago.

The arguments by these anti-abortion advocates are firmly based on religious, not on medical or social or secular beliefs.

The exposures of the clandestine and huge black money involved to succeed in gaining this outcome you can read again, plus new opinions confirming the statement made in my previous paragraph.

The fact that over 90 percent of abortions occur in the first trimester will be cited repeatedly as the logical and MORAL basis for their decision!

Just one problem: The unique selection of women’s rights to be estopped by legal fiat is not applied to any other private citizens’ actions based only on religious opinion, clearly is not the secular choice Justice Blackman and his colleagues agreed to 49 years ago.

Read here again the frightening article this site published about Leonard Leo. The rising incidence of violence certainly arises in part from repressive religious based attacks on gays and minorities.

You likely will experience revulsion by reading about Leo and his clandestine efforts with illegal black money to install his hateful orthodoxy into our democracy.

In short there will now be a tidal wave of attempted repression on human rights that Roe served to block before the complete politization of the Supreme Court and many other lower courts where more restrictive lawsuits will be initiated.

My point here is not to endlessly argue Roe, but simply to underline the huge effect that killing Roe (beyond Roe) will have on the rule of law in our democracy.

The irony of calling this decision an example of model moral behavior by its right-wing Catholic supporters ignores the fact that its implementation—the packing of the Supreme Court—was done by a sexually philandering, serially lying, law defying President who may yet be convicted of high crimes and misdemeanors!

Trump was twice impeached but again not convicted and expelled like Nixon because of the Senate’s GOP willingness to ignore Trump and allies extensive efforts to overthrow the Biden election with false claims of election fraud.

If the non-governing, racist, anti-gay, women, and minorities GOP wins most of all voters because of transitory worries over inflation and any other failing attributed to Biden, our decline as a viable democracy is assured.

Don’t think free speech is not under further distress because of this right-wing effort to reestablish the good old days of white supremacy.

Is your hair too long or your song lyrics too sharply accurate?

Sadly, comedian George Carlin is dead, but his comic routines offer sharp assessments of abortion rights and religious tyranny which now prove to be not comic with the repression of choice and the rise of religious fantasies as governing our behavior.

The good news is that Carlin can still be enjoyed free online.

If Elon Musk buys Twitter you can expect more Trump types back on!

My final urgent warning to all citizens of any color, ethnicity, religion or economic level, this surge of right wing Catholic religious governance is already here and soon to be reinforced by Roe’s demise and the other anti-democratic attacks already underway.

The outcome of our midterm elections this November, if the GOP takes control of Congress, will offer evidence of what may become of our treasured freedoms, already by then likely seriously impinged upon by Roe’s demise.
