The July 7th page one Washington Post article “Accessing abortion pills meets a legal gray area” perfectly explains how taking away a Constitutional right leading to rebellious behavior by those women.

Read this article here.

The machinations required by Roe’s killing to obtain medically safe abortion pills demanded by the laws of states, where abortions are illegal, means hardship and delays. Most of our citizens feel utter disgust at the stench Justice Sotomayor predicted in this immoral decision.

The lives of women needing abortions are now endangered by a tyrannical right wing Catholic Supreme Court majority who would rather protect fetal tissue than the lives, safety, and privacy of women.

Supreme Court releases new group portrait

Sadly, the Trump GOP Congress will not allow this reprehensible decision to be corrected with enlightened legislation restoring Roe’s legality.

And this decision is only the first of many this Court plans in its next term against the LGBTQ community and likely those using contraception.

The time is now in November to give the GOP the drubbing it has so richly earned or face its further tyranny. Will the House Committee On January 6th hearings change minds?

All the GOP representatives in Congress seem to have do is to continue what they are best at NOT GOVERN, but simply let this manic ideological Court set our laws knowing most of our citizens disagree with the Roe decision and others they already have perpetrated.

After one Trump term we can now look at the wreckage he has caused.

As admitted by the mostly high-level Republican witnesses at the House Committee’s January 6th hearings, Trump’s attempted coup and the possibility it could occur in 2024 could deeply damage our fragile democracy.

Never since the Civil War has our democracy been so threatened.

Are we awakened yet?

Is Roe a trigger to our majority acting or will we sink into an ironic new definition of the Slough of Despond depicted in John Bunyan’s 1678 allegory Pilgrim’s Progress??

Read his ancient religious mandated interpretation here and here.

Bunyan’s hero, Christian’s (how’s than for irony?) embrace of evangelical salvation, fails to provide modern secular resolution for the Roe decision. It exactly exemplifies how not to keep our freedom from religious dictators like our present Supreme Court’s majority.

Lest Bunyan’s hope for salvation seem obscure, the continuing menace of reprehensible Catholic Supreme Court control of what should be our secular health rights can be found here in their church’s own words.

Our failure to vote these immoral and spineless elected GOP representatives out of Congress at the midterms in November could dip our fragile democracy further into a new right wing religious induced Slough of Despond which dismisses the advantages of our spectacular secular progress so we could fall back to continued Trumpian repression reminiscent of those bad old Bunyan days when kings and dictators prevailed!
