Church and State

The American people so far have watched the most outrageous levering, a political misconduct in the history of the republic with half of the country’s voters, taking no action and the rest remaining completely powerless based on the trifecta of control, which the Trump GOP Congress has allowed.
James Carville predicted after Trump’s first month of mayhem that these frenetic heresies would not last forever and in fact would be curtailed shortly after Trump’s one month term began.
Whether this happens is obviously highly uncertain.
However, we know the dismantling of USAID our principal way of extending the image of America around the needy worldwide and forwarding at minimal cost greatly increases the anger and safety of our own citizens. The flip of Secretary of State Rubio, a longtime USAID booster to anti USAID shows the extent of treasonous lack of spine by Trump’s inner circles.
Finally, we’re starting to see some fight. We need more of this

We know from the evidence to date that the chainsaw approach which Elon Musk so vividly displayed will certainly not produce a government that will give fair and equal treatment under the law and under the constitution to the widest range of citizens possible. Nor will the predicted savings be even partially achieved with cutting social security, Medicare or defense.
You can be confident the Trump and Heritage’s 2025 plans don’t ask the oligarchs to pay their fair share of taxes.
Of course in Trump’s first term he cut corporate taxes from 37 percent to 21 percent, so the outsourcing of many manufacturing jobs to cheaper overseas producers made them even richer. Trump then again in Term 1.0 added over $8 Trillian to the National Debt, which is now 30 percent of its $36 Trillian total!
Is the productivity of helping the rich get richer getting any clearer?
Ceding control of our Federal and other governments to big corporate campaign gifts such as Musk, who has earned $23 billion so far in government contracts, gave Trump $277 million for his 2024 campaign. You don’t likely remember how slickly unlimited corporate gifts to election campaigns was accomplished in the Obama Presidency by an adoring Congress without much public outcry with the passage of Citizens United into law in 2010!!
Elon Musk just bought Trump the election for $250 million—and it’s completely legal. You can thank 15 years Citizens United for this!#StopTheOligarchy

At this point in the massacre of effective governance and obedience to our Constitution and our laws, only a few brave Republican officials in Congress have made statements which clearly reflect the above poinst of view. As the Trump and Elon Musk fascist attack on our democracy continues, it will become very evident to an increasing majority of Americans of all parties that we stand to lose all the advantages which were provided in our Constitution and under the rule of law by the founders of our Republic.
How long will it take to stop this illegal carnage? It better not take too long because we are fast moving toward a precipice over which we could fall and not find our way back.
There have been many red lines which Trump has crossed which should have placed him in jail, but now unbelievably we find the ultimate of many treasonous acts occurred as America voted with the Russians at the UN. As the Post told us, “U.S. votes against U.N. resolution condemning Russia for Ukraine war. Washington’s shift on the conflict marks a major break with Europe and coincides with the Trump administration’s bid to repair relations with Moscow.”
You can read the full story of that unbelievable position here.

Trump has now forced the Ukrainians to cede a substantial portion of their rare earth mineral rights on the premise that the United States will continue to help defend Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Since Trump is already named Zelensky a dictator, Ukraine, the aggressor and what has been an outrageous invasion by the Russians, how can negotiation come out that will provide Ukraine with proper protection against future Russian aggression?
Trump claims that our shocked NATO allies can now supply troops at some point to ensure the integrity of what is left of Ukraine after this so-called negotiation which Trump started by giving the Russians all they wanted before the first meeting between Zelensky and the Russian negotiators.
Almost no bargaining chips left for Zelensky whose brave country men and women stood up to Trump’s pal Putin and I suspect will again as our NATO European allies know the price of not funding Ukraine’s defense.
BREAKING: In yet another stunning senior moment, Donald Trump either refuses to admit or cannot remember calling President Zelensky a dictator. President Biden would have been excoriated by the press for having a similar lapse.

None of the above is a mystery even though Trump is already tried to restrict press access to his presence since after all this new king has complete say over what we are allowed to know and not know.
Naturally, the claim by Trump and musk about the transparency of the coup that they have succeeded in largely initiating conform to the usual pattern shown by any dictator who seeks complete authority.
For those in 2024 who voted for this coup, you may not care that Musk gets a look at your tax returns— But Trump cared deeply about his privacy, exposure of which led to his conviction as a felon in NY— or that their attack on the federal government will not reach into every nook and cranny throughout the country.
If that is your mistaken view, I suggest you will wish to read the February 25th Washington Post story entitled DOGE’s data grab raises fears on privacy which notes “The unusual request could put sensitive data about millions of American taxpayers in the hands of Trump political appointees. Washington’s shift on the conflict marks a major break with Europe and coincides with the Trump administration’s bid to repair relations with Moscow.”
Read it here skeptics.

Circumstances which will allow a Trump impeachment, indictment and displacement from government are not now evident, but they will continue to escalate abruptly in this second Trump term.
Read this shocking betrayal by Trump here.
Further evidence that President Trump is turning the US into something like a modern Soviet satellite: The US says it will side with Russia to oppose a UN resolution condemning Russian aggression. Russia, Belarus and America, united. https://t.co/VKAxRGbgFV
