One of the primary features of the rise of Nazi Germany involved a standard method for achieving tyrannical rule. Attack a group which you can label undesirable for reasons that you can invent and make orthodox with propaganda, as Hitler did in 1933. Out of a total German population then of about 67 million, only about 500,000 were Jews.
The Allies won a great victory in 1945, capped by the use of the atomic bomb. Many of our primary scientists who made that weapon ahead of the Germans were Jews. In fact, Albert Einstein was the one to alert Roosevelt to the urgency of so doing, and the principal manager of the project at Los Alamos was Oppenheimer, who was assisted by other key Jewish scientists.
Jews have always served militarily in US wars. Read that history here.
Hadeeqa Arzoo Malik, a vicious Islamic extremist, rabid antisemite and Hamas supporter who called New York City police officers "pigs" during a deranged shrieking rant at a pro-Hamas hate rally, was suspended from the City University of New York (CUNY) for spreading antisemitism… pic.twitter.com/utYYybks5u

After World War II, we experienced a great period of productivity and cohesiveness, which boosted our economy, but at the same time seemed to make many of us particularly paranoid about potential enemies around the world.
Certainly, there were those enemies such as the USSR but none of them could match our power. But the huge expenditures of defense were good for employment and embraced by both parties.
It is likely that our various episodes of aggression against other alleged enemy countries seemed in retrospect far more based on our wish to control resources than to control alleged enemies. And after all with these wonderful new military weapons the incentive to use them for foreign adventures seemed irresistible.
The Trump administration is on the high road of using a technique which Hitler used so effectively. Trump’s enemies were initially Hispanic immigrants he claimed were crossing our border from Mexico, bringing drugs and vicious qualities that would totally undermine our country. Most were not dangerous, just seeking work.
Turns out that our long history has involved the migration of many people to the United States and is a major reason for our basic success as a democracy.
In fact, there may very well have been too many people crossing the border, which the Democratic Party failed to recognize would be the political lever of power that Trump would use as a primary mechanism to his rise of power.
A failure to put in place over many years reasonable laws on immigration was surely the fault of both parties. Reform was needed that was not embraced, and now it has been used as a principal event to install a fledgling dictator who is well on his way to succeeding.
In 2023 it was estimated that there was a shortage of unskilled labor existed of about 10 million.
Other shortages in other categories were noted in a comprehensive article which you can read here.
Talking sector, the “unskilled” jobs have been the largest category of work in the twenty-first century.
A research report concludes that unskilled jobs contributed to more than 50% of the US labor force in 2018.
Farm, factory, and other forms of laborers have been hired mostly for the “unskilled” jobs, since the 2000s. These jobs were relatively easier to fill due to their entry requirements i.e.- a high school degree or less.
It is estimated that the number of unskilled jobs in the US labor market keep growing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates home health/personal care aids, fast foods workers, and counter workers to be the three fastest growing occupations between 2019 and 2029.

Trump’s reckless dismissal of a large number of federal workers whose vital services . benefited all of us for generations has left our Federal government in utter disarray.
This, of course, is by design since Trump’s strategy is to show that he is making the system better partly by reducing our national debt has now reached $37 trillion.
Trump says let’s cut off these vital health services to our poor citizens, which, of course, would not have any effect on greatly reducing the national debt.
Trump also sees no problem with spending $300 million for a huge ballroom in the East Wing of the White House so he can entertain his billionaire friends.
Authoritarianism is already well advanced by the fact that there is such a disparity between the powerful billionaires, including Trump, and our 60 percent of our citizens who are living payroll to payroll and the even less fortunate.
Here’s a video montage of state-sanctioned cruelty, with ICE being the blunt instrument of authoritarianism. This is how democracy dies – shove by shove, raid by raid – in Trump’s America. pic.twitter.com/3JITaxuImu

Many of these billionaires who now seem to have his instinct for more wealth even if important services like healthcare for the less fortunate will ot be enacted.
The founders, even though they were elitists themselves, formulated a system which allowed the balance of power to occur if the three branches of government could be maintained.
It now would appear that Trump has been able to capture cooperation from the Supreme Court of the United States and certainly he has totally taken over the gutless GOP members of Congress, who seemed to have no conscience about feeding the power to a ruthless, immoral, and growingly unbalanced would be dictator.
My main point. Unless we take action to stop this disgusting excuse for a human being. He will thunder on to victory for his billionaires, including himself as he feathers his own nest with government power.
However, since the ethnic mix of the United States is not the ethnic mix of Nazi Germany, it is obvious that our salvation rests with our ethnic diversity!
It has been our ability to attract immigrants that has made this country the major power on earth. Withdrawing into prejudice against keeping the flow of new blood, regulated better though it needs to be, would be another tool in the dictator’s toolbox.
Unreal: Trump claimed “substantially MORE than 100%” of new jobs went to migrants. Not only is that mathematically impossible – it’s another dangerous lie scapegoating immigrants.
This man is unfit, unserious, and obsessed with dividing America.

The hidden impetus of Trump’s argument is that the white majority greatly fears its majority will be lost shortly.
That white majority actually in and of itself is a highly diverse ethnic group. Look on your television and you see huge diversity in the form of equal numbers of women of all races, blacks, Hispanics, and every other ethnicity you can imagine.
Look at the MAGA a group, which is Trump’s main white base. It is highly certain that most US citizens will not be a majority within two decades.
While it is clear that while the present situation is extremely dire under Trump, the importance of voting by our majority of highly diverse ethnic citizens has never been more urgent and it is quite hopeful that the hateful attacks that Trump has made on everyone will make all American people realize that he is using the same strategy that Hitler used to rise to power in the 1930s.
