Trump’s change on Jeffery Epstein files release is not surprising but significant!!

November 17 news release by Trump now forced him to adopt the three-step reaction when under political assault that he learned so well from Roy Cohn his longtime lawyer.

Cohn had three major verities in pursuing any legal matters in his career, practised to ensure that his unethical contact would succeed a high percentage all the time.

Number one never apologize, number two attack, attack, attack, and number three never give up!

And certainly Trump’s behavior in the Jeffrey Epstein situation perfectly fits, as it is obvious that he was closely involved with Epstein, and will never admit doing anything wrong, although the release of these files may substantially undermine that argument.

But unlike his use of this trio before, this time he is not in control!

The obvious fact, the public now knows he is at least guilty of ignoring his knowledge of Epstein’s young girls at Mar-a-Lago.

Then today at his news conference, he began to attack Democrats as the only ones who could possibly have been involved with Epstein and that the entire possible charges are actually a hoax perpetrated by Democrats, and finally, he will never give up on trying to push this lying about his involvement with Epstein!

However, unlike some of his other pronouncements, which were plausible to his MAGA voters, have become less and less believable to more and more voters and elected officials.

The huge vote on November 18 in the House to release these files was fully backed up by a similar action in the Senate, which will put the approved bill on the desk of the president, who claims he will sign it.

This breakaway by Republican House members has set the stage for more affections in the supposedly impregnable armour of Trump to get anything through his party that he wishes.

There are many other issues, including those about foreign policy, which many Republican House and Senate members don’t like, so this Epstein action should give some Republicans the backbone necessary to act on their opinions.

The real impetus here came from Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of Trump‘s long-time unquestioned loyalists whom Trump called a traitor!!!

Greene blew her stack and gathered the abused women behind her in a news conference which has changed the situation in a unique way!

For the first time since his second term started Trump is not in control of the situation which in fact has come really to shown big cracks in his armor that cannot be put back.

Then you can add his lavish entertainment of the Saudi Prince at a White House dinner after giving him a fly over of airplanes and saying that the Prince did not order the killing of Khashoggi in a news conference which Trump’s own intelligence reported that is into true.  So having a premeditated murderer honoured at the White House could upset some people, even if some Republicans claim ohh, well, we got so much from the Saudis for doing this when in fact we did not.

Then of course his recent destruction of a historic part of the White House into a shambles, so he had put a gold-plated dining room in its place, might possibly seem excessive even to the most loyal of his supporters.

The fact that it is now obvious that the deal with the Saudi Prince includes some gain for Trump’s golf courses is simply a small example of his using his presidency as ways to make huge profits for his family.

We can only wonder when there will be enough reasons to impeach this convicted felon?
