This significant failure has drawn considerable criticism from experts across the military, government, and media sectors. Observers have noted a marked decline in coverage of the Jeffrey Epstein files, which appear to have diminished or become notably sparse since the onset of the conflict. As media outlets report on the war in Iran, initiated by President Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu on February 28, military experts and historians have raised substantial questions regarding the rationale for launching this intervention. Notably, since the commencement of these hostilities, many previously cited justifications for initiating the conflict seem less prominent in public discourse.

Heather Cox Richardson ties the true Trump motivation to start this Iran war which you can read here. Her headline: War in Iran Rages As Epstein Coverup and Voter Suppression Continue

Thus, while we are all anxious to see Trump take the nasty political fall he deserves, the US and Israel will end up killing how many people on both sides???? Already deaths of US servicemen have occurred a number soon which will be greatly increased.

In 1975 I joined a medical team which went to Tehran to assist women in obtaining a safe early abortion, The mission’s leader, a distinguished MD, was a close and personal friend of mine. Before leaving the US, my MD friend had trained two Iranian women nurses to perform this early abortion procedure safely.

When we arrived in Tehran, these two train nurses were observed doing procedures by the medical staff at the hospital at which they were going to work.

The senior Iranian MDs at this hospital were so pleased that they had this newly qualified duo since they were overwhelmed with cases requiring early abortion services.

The level of such offered service in this hospital was certainly enhanced with the arrival of these nurses.

My doctor colleague and I were asked to observe the demand for this service so we proceeded to the hospital waiting room which was filled with numerous women in black chadors screaming for his attention. My MD colleague was asked to do several cases himself, and when he attempted to find women who would qualify in a waiting room cramped with such women it took him over an hour to find three women who are not already passed the 10 week limit beyond which this procedure was not to be offered.

What is now being offered? Abortion is now severely restricted as numerous articles in Wikipedia and elsewhere describe in detail. As I personally confirmed abortion under the Shah was safely and freely available.

The Shah who was admittedly a tyrant, but certainly not worse than the religious maniacs that have governed the country for 47 years since 1979!

On February 28, Trump began the recent conflict with Iran, supported by Israel. While the outcome remains uncertain, past U.S. military interventions since the Korean War in 1953 have largely failed, except for helping South Korea become a democracy.

My two trips to Vietnam in 1994 with a medical team showed surprising hospitality and courtesy from locals and officials around Hanoi. Despite Vietnam’s violent history, we felt safe and saw significant progress, including widespread family planning programs adopted after the war ended in 1975. The US defeat in Vietnam was a turning point.

Since 1953, major military campaigns demonstrate that force against sovereign nations can have devastating effects. Actions like using Agent Orange and violence against civilians and soldiers in Vietnam had severe consequences.
