Trump gets called to quit Iran by the GOP! Here are many other reasons to oust him!!

Earlier this year I had predicted that Trump would be out as President by the midterm election!

This prediction was made before he decided to get sucker punched by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu into going into Iran!!

Now the Republican controlled US House voted to block Trump from ordering more strikes on Iran and also it advanced the measure over the objection of GOP leaders, that would provide Ukraine $8 billion dollars in loans and $300 million in long term security which had been blocked by Trump for some time.

The GOP controlled Congress now increasingly faces angry voters and is extremely worried about their own electability but not worried about anything in the past that Trump has done.

It is worth listing again some of the crimes he has committed since he should’ve been thrown out of office for his initiation of the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and should not have gotten away with. He should have gone to jail, but at the very least been ousted from his Presidency. He has never stopped claiming that the 2020 election was stolen despite overwhelming proof that it was not. That lie still resonates with his MAGA cult.

Some of other things he has done as president:

1. Giving himself, his family and his pals billions from our treasury and with many other shady deals he has concocted, including giving his allies’ government contracts. Trump, as you recall, is a convicted felon for his real estate manipulations.

2. Constantly ignoring the structures of our US Constitution and our rule of law.

3. Using his power to have Todd Blanche (Trumps’ former personal lawyer but now his acting AttorneyGeneral) approved by the Senate as the Attorney General. Trump’s Action campaign has other departments digging up information about his enemies so that he can bring up charges which many have proved ridiculous but still cause those attacked to feel the pain and the legal fees.

4. Daily lying about his actions and his intentions. He has doubtless told more lies than any other president in our entire history. Example: Claiming on June 3rd that the war in Iran has been won and has his Secretary of State making the same claim.

5. Embarking mostly without required pre-approval on a series of projects, including Tearing down and rebuilding of the East wing of the White House, which instead of being paid for by money he raised it is now going to cost $1 billion, and he is asking that Congress provide such money.

6. Without Congressional approval, invading Venezuela, but leaving its repressive government in place while its captured President Maduro awaits trial in the US. Then Trump began threatening longtime allies with his wishes to take over Greenland, Canada, and possibly Cuba.

7. Trump has just asked the Senate to approve his appointment of Bill Pulte a federal housing official to head the Department of National Intelligence, who has no intelligence experience, but has served as a hitman for Trump in finding information against his enemies.

Gladly note, that many GOP senators have acknowledged that Pulte is totally unqualified to have access to over 18 departments that have perhaps the most intelligence ever assembled.

8. Then of course we have the matter of the Jeffrey Epstein files which continue to be unreleased in full despite the fact that legislation has been passed to require such release and we still find the perpetrators of the rape of these innocent young women have not been at all prosecuted while many of the names of these women, now much older, have been released and they have been continued to be unsatisfied that nothing is proceeding to bring justice to the situation.

This president should have long ago been impeached, indicted and removed from office but of course to get the necessary 67 votes in the Senate trial, to throw him out of office seems impossible even now.

However, if his health suddenly triggers serious problems or his mental cognition gets worse, who knows?

All the while, the billionaires are manipulating our democracy so that it will be even more under control by their big money all because of the avoidance of following the rule of law by Trump.

We should include in the above list the overt racism that he has brought to bear against women and minorities while he and a huge network of Illogical sympathizers using the racist thrust of Christian Nationalism to further undermine our democracy, religious freedom and the fundamental Constitutional separation of Church and state.

A 2/19/25 NY Times article entitled “How Trump Rode a Wave of ‘Reactionary Nihilism’ to the White House” lauds “Money Lies and God” as “A new book by the journalist Katherine Stewart finds a far-right movement seething in resentment, suspicious of reason and determined to dominate at all costs.” The book details massive national network of usually Republican Catholic and Protestant priests and pastors and their congregations who are against gay rights, people who not white and women’s choice. They are financially supported by wealthy donors who are trying to undermine our democracy by causing fear to these conservative Christian groups so money can buy right wing secular political power for some of these the billionaires.

The Stewart book “Money, Lies and God” makes powerfully disturbing reading!!

The utter blatancy and openness of his rapaciousness has to date not seemed to bother the Senate or the House of Representatives, but I suggest that the accumulation of his dirty deeds will require a punitive response.

Are the 67 votes needed for Trump’s indictment in the US Senate that far away?
