Efforts to initiate Donald Trump’s impeachment have become urgent!

On January 27th, I had suggested that Congress would at some point based on Trump’s promised actions if elected would cause Congress with both parties participating to impeach, indict and evict this dangerous tyrant.

Whose actions have been aided and abetted Trump more than Twitter owner oligarch Elon Musk, to assist in making a perfectly coordinated actions against our constitutional and legal safeguards?

Thus, as has so far proved true, Trump’s actions have sought to completely unbalance and corrupt what our founders had laid in place as a means of maintaining the balance of power between the President, Congress and the Supreme Court.

You can read my inadequately concerned impeachment recommendation piece here.

Trump’s attempt to take over control of the Congressional power of spending by inhibiting seasoned career bureaucrats with no political ambitions was so well documented by various articles in the January 31, Washington Post that it becomes evident that there is an extreme urgency to making these matters be legally addressed and action must be taken to stop what could become an utterly devastating trend to destroy our democratic governance.

I will here offer specifics from these articles.

The primary example of the arrogance which Trump is bringing to the office was expressed in his speech in Davos when he made clear that he intended to affect the world and making United States the indisputable master of everyone else using the power that he inherited with his election in November 2024.

Read this article carefully and the shock will make what I am arguing evident.

The primary excuse used by Trump and his authoritarian allies is that the national debt is now $37 trillion and must be quickly reduced. Obviously the reduction in accordance with the oligarchs perception of Elon Musk and others would be perpetrated on the back of our poorest citizens.

While both parties obviously ran it up, the national debt the incumbent President added $7 trillion to the national debt in his first term and would appear to be on track to do the same now since his policies with tariffs are a main strategy to simply put higher living costs on all citizens!

I thought it becomes evident for a need for consultation between rational Democrats and Republicans to stem this largely illegal and manic invasion of our government by Trump and his allies.

What exactly any of the charges made by Musk about so-called inefficiency and corruption are need to be investigated?? Not if the price destroys a system that has put America as the bastion of the free world.

Doubtless there is always a need for a strong review of spending, but not a mindless dismissal of seasoned career employees, whose talents are desperately needed to properly implement money that has been already approved by our Congress.

Here is the most vital point: Immediately getting the adult members with courage in Congress from both parties together to realistically deal with this national emergency!

Delay can only exacerbate the harm that is already been perpetrated by many gutless immoral oligarch Republicans in their unwillingness to curb a dictator who has already emerged (first telling voters he would in his campaign) in less than a month.

The likelihood of such a meeting happening in a formally announced way is slight but surely veterans of both parties are aware of the vast implications of not doing anything.

The January 31st Washington Post article entitled “The defining theme of Trump’s triumphal return: Oligarchy” about Trump’s appallingly arrogant speech on January 23 in Davos reports,

The new administration has empowered a handful of extremely rich people to exert disproportionate influence over the government. There’s a word for that.

A lot has happened in the chaotic first two weeks of President Donald Trump’s second term. My colleagues are keeping up with the barrage of executive orders, bombastic proclamations and occasional backtracks we’ve already seen out of the Trump White House, as it sets about imposing its far-reaching agenda. But no single spectacle seemed to encapsulate the mood of Trump’s return more than his virtual appearance a week ago at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Trump beamed into a giant plenary hall in the heart of the Swiss mountain town, where hundreds of world leaders and well-heeled corporate executives waited to hear from him. He heralded the “golden age” promised by his presidency and spouted other hyperbole about both the failings of his predecessors and the imminent glories of his new term. The audience — including a selection of hugely influential CEOs who asked sycophantic questions of Trump from the Davos stage — chortled and tittered during much of the address.

My colleague David Ignatius, who was also in the room, wrote that Trump spoke “almost like a 21st-century emperor announcing edicts to his newly conquered princes and satraps.” Here was an imperial president, backed, as he had been on Inauguration Day, by a phalanx of billionaires who were hedging their bets on his rule yielding them a rich dividend — or fearful that being on his wrong side may harm their bottom line.

After Trump’s speech, I ran into Agnès Callamard, secretary general of human rights group Amnesty International, who was bemused by what she had just witnessed. She forecast a couple of global trends emerging from Trump’s first days back in office, including “an obedience to the great new chief over there” and the inevitable “copycat behaviors” he may inspire among leaders elsewhere. Trump’s hard-line on migration, skepticism of climate science and opposition to laws and regulations protecting minorities like the LGBT community all constitute “an attack on political rights,” Callamard told me, and “we’re going to see a multiplication of that throughout the world in an environment that is already full of authoritarian practices and authoritarian individuals.”

This article documents the cataclysmic implications if nothing is done.

There is much more devastating commentary in this article which you can read here.

Knowledge of the working keys to taking over our government by the oligarchs is clearly demonstrated here.

In his January 31 piece, Tharoor tells us about the

Senior U.S. official to exit after rift with Musk allies over payment system” saying “A top Treasury career staffer is expected to depart. Surrogates of Musk’s DOGE effort had sought access to sensitive payment systems.

The highest-ranking career official at the Treasury Department is departing after a clash with allies of billionaire Elon Musk over access to sensitive payment systems, according to three people with knowledge of the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private talks.

David A. Lebryk, who served in nonpolitical roles at Treasury for several decades, announced his retirement Friday in an email to colleagues obtained by The Washington Post. President Donald Trump named Lebryk as acting secretary upon taking office last week. (That visit was first reported by the New York Times.) His Department of Government Efficiency, originally conceived as a nongovernmental panel, has since replaced the U.S. Digital Service. Lebryk had a dispute with Musk’s surrogates over access to the payment system the U.S. government uses to disburse trillions of dollars every year, the people said. The exact nature of the disagreement was not immediately clear, they said.

Officials affiliated with Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” have been asking since after the election for access to the system, the people said — requests that were reiterated more recently, including after Trump’s inauguration.

A spokeswoman for DOGE declined to comment. Lebryk could not be reached for comment late Thursday.

When Scott Bessent was confirmed as treasury secretary on Monday, Lebryk ceased to be the acting agency head.

Here what payments are now controlled:

Typically, only a small number of career officials control Treasury’s payment systems. Run by the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, the sensitive systems control the flow of more than $6 trillion annually to households, businesses and more nationwide. Tens, if not hundreds, of millions of people across the country rely on the systems, which are responsible for distributing Social Security and Medicare benefits, salaries for federal personnel, payments to government contractors and grant recipients and tax refunds, among tens of thousands of other functions.

The clash reflects an intensifying battle between Musk and the federal bureaucracy as the Trump administration nears the conclusion of its second week. Musk has sought to exert sweeping control over the inner workings of the U.S. government, installing longtime surrogates at several agencies, including the Office of Personnel Management, which essentially handles federal human resources, and the General Services Administration, which manages real estate. (Musk was seen on Thursday visiting GSA, according to two other people familiar with his whereabouts, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal matters.

Enough. Where are our Democrat leaders or those GOP veterans who didn’t take the greed and power oath??? The mass of powerful genuflectors to His Majesty Trump grows daily!

The ensuing Trump episodes are certain to offer more of the same. Should all Americans be frightened? Of course. James Carville said, “It’s the economy, Stupid!” Voters better rapidly understand, “It’s your democracy, Stupid!
