Donald Trump the greatest con man in the United States. His failures are legion, all are aware. Trump’s university, Trump’s casinos, Trump’s airline, Trump’s steaks, Trump’s non-profits. To these he has now added Trump’s war, Trump’s inflation, Trump’s attack on the First Amendment, Trump’s war on research, Trump’s ignoring Constitutional rights, Trump’s attempts to prevent people from voting, Trump’s demolishing the city of Washington, Trump’s attacks on our allies, Trump’s “love” and admiration for dictators, Trump’s bigotry on full display.
The successes that he glories in, making America a failure in the world, demeaning all the things that have made our country the greatest ever. One by one he attacks all the advances striving to return to the dismal days of the 19th century. He conned his way to the top but actual governing bores him, and one project after another drops by the wayside because of opposition or impracticality and he is no longer interested. His vanity projects he enjoys, wasteful eyesores impinging on the lovely city.
Much of this is typified by the fuss over the reflecting pool. Without any competition or vetting he hires a company that fixes swimming pools to change its color. This company is not able to do the job and it all becomes a mess. But Trump, the incompetent, blames everyone except himself and wraps himself in indignation over a matter that is inconsequential to our national security or anything significant to the country at large. Meanwhile he talks about his ballroom, his arch, his name or picture on anything available. And he continues to make obscene amounts of money out of the presidency.
