Too many humans on earth means the likelihood of the already well started 6th Mass Extinction

Too few men here and around the world understand that the survival of humans on Earth demands giving women the same equality as given to men.

After evolving for billions of years our beautiful blue planet has, within less than 100 years, produced more human consumers than can be sustained.

Now we are faced with reallocating and somehow distributing enough of our resources to maintain stability in a world increasingly unsafe environmentally and immersed in burgeoning conflicts which could be exploded by an atomic exchange or by conventional wars fueled by ethnic, religious or Trump type power grabs, disease, famine or earthquakes.

So here’s my great panic! Many US media outlets continue to underestimate the enormous impact created by Trump’s opposition to family planning methods, best defined as choice! Prime example: Trump ordered the burning of $9.7 million of USAID contraceptives now stored in Belgium.

Beginning on Tuesday morning, July 28, I have been looking for some stern protesting reaction from the media in newspapers or on television, but I did not find any reaction until the very end of CNN’s Jake Tapper’s 7/28/25 afternoon program where the last 25 seconds Tapper talks about the fact that these Belgian US AID contraceptive supplies were going to be or likely to of be destroyed, despite the fact that none were out date until 2027!

Sadly, Tapper did not appear to see the enormous implications worldwide of this story.

Anti-choice attacks have long been put forward by many religions trying to destroy the provision of vitally needed contraceptives as part of their goal to control people’s lives with their ideology.

Curbing birth control has already failed to restrict the already out of control growth of human numbers on our planet which can sustain far less than our present 8 plus billion!

Mentioned in this article of July 27 in the Washington Post was that efforts were underway to stop this travesty but so far, I have seen no agreement for diverting the supplies elsewhere. Destruction seems highly likely!

The Trump administration is winding down much of the U.S. international aid apparatus and, like previous Republican administrations since Ronald Reagan, backing away from funding birth control.

The supplies were to have been distributed by the U.S. Agency for International Development. Their destruction will cost $167,000, the spokesperson said. USAID, by negotiating cancellations on pending orders of commodities, is avoiding $34.1 million in taxpayer costs, the spokesperson said.

As respected, scientific evidence has acknowledged for years that the growth of the Homosapien population since I was born in 1931 long ago reached levels that are not sustainable. The continued willingness of world leaders to ignore this growing threat allows me to close this book with a certain prediction: There will be a substantial reduction in Homo sapiens if not complete annihilation should an atomic war break out. However, there are substantial other reasons. They include non-nuclear wars, environmental breakdowns, and health conditions will deteriorate to make substantial reductions certain.

Meantime Trump proposes cutting choice: “EPA moves to repeal landmark finding that allows climate regulation.”

In a related attack, Trump’s administration has proposed revoking a scientific finding that’s long been the central basis for U.S. action to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change” because Biden tried to institute effective restraint on environmental destruction.

As our democracy gets increasingly fragmented by the determinedly manic efforts of the Trump administration to bring our entire government under stern authoritarian control, we can see that our growing isolationism and treatment of allies will bring about a substantial decline in the relative power of the US to foster cooperation and stability in the many places that has traditionally benefited from our efforts.

We know the only path to peace must be creating circumstances for female equality which means of course their access to free contraception of all kinds. Arguments about the need for more children as raised by Mr. Trump in his 2024 presidential campaign are seemingly based entirely on his perception that increase should entirely come from white Americans. Efforts to encourage more births have consistently failed on numerous occasions in the past!

The ultimate irony was well stated by the President of the Population Institute of Canada Madeline Weld in her personal e-mail to me of July 31st when she said ‘You’d think Trump would know that access to contraception means less population growth which means reducing the push factors driving illegal and legal immigration to the US.”

I can only suggest that you understand that we are presently in a time of world crisis which is going to affect all of us.

To repeat when the total numbers on the planet have exceeded 8 billion and seemed likely to add another 2 billion before 2100, these numbers that are simply not sustainable. At this level Homo sapiens will continue to face the problems stated above such as climate, etc.

Now as the Federation for American Reform has advocated for decades properly regulated immigration would maintain our needed numbers.

Immigrants are our history! The future immigrants should be better selected but then welcomed. The irony of the present situation gets more stupid every day with AI potentially reducing US job opportunities as the population grows.
